Western Michigan Coach Demonstrates "New Traditions" In Hilarious Video
Look out Kliff Kingsbury, there's another college football coach out there who's aiming for the title of Swaggiest Bro-Coach to Have Ever Swagged. Meet Western Michigan head coach P.J. Fleck. He's here to walk you through the new game-day traditions that will be taking place at Bronco games this year.
Some of these new traditions aren't exactly groundbreaking—one of them involves the school band playing the fight song after each home touchdown, something every school does—but a few of them are just delightful. For example, the WMU Broncos will now have an in-stadium DJ. This DJ's name is DJ Ill Mix. Coach Fleck seems really excited about DJ Ill Mix.
Also, the stadium PA will now play Metallica's "For Whom The Bell Tolls" whenever the opposing team gets to third down, at which point the WMU fans will be expected to participate in some hand dancing. Please go to the 2:20 mark of the video above and watch coach Fleck demonstrate said hand dancing. I'm not really sure what he's doing there, but I like it.
Finally, Bronco fans will get to participate in a fun, stadium-wide rowing dance at the start of every fourth quarter. Again, allow coach Fleck to show you how to do the rowing dance by skipping ahead to the 2:35 mark of the video.
That went kind of fast, did you miss it? Don't worry, someone made a GIF:
