Wind Blows Punt Backward For A Safety
Yeah, this is from Saturday, but if you think you can do a better job covering junior college bowl season, have at it, jerk.
At the Fisher Automotive El Toro Bowl (yes, even NJCAA bowls have sponsors), Arizona Western P/DT Joel Maddock nearly whiffed on a punt from his own goal line. Going into a strong wind, it landed about six yards downfield before bouncing back and out of the end zone.
The New Mexico Military Institute took the Fisher Automotive El Toro Bowl, and I think we can all agree it was a Fisher Automotive El Toro Bowl we'll never forget.
