Yu Darvish Dinged A Big Ole Donger
Photo credit: John Minchillo/ [object Object] Yu Darvish hit his first career dinger tonight, sending a Tim Adelman pitch over the center field wall in the fifth inning. At the time of the homer, he had more stroked dongs than hits allowed, although the Reds put one on him shortly after.
For your first ever dinger, 410 feet is awfully impressive. He’s also the first Texas Rangers pitcher to hit a home run since 1997, when Bobby Witt went yard.
