Jennifer Capriati's Porn Star Ex Still Working On Sound Bite (UPDATE)

Did you know recently hospitalized former tennis star Jennifer Capriati once dated an adult film star named Dale DaBone? Yeah, me neither. He recently spilled personal details about their break-up, but now he's clammed-up after her latest incident.

I spoke with Mr. DaBone about 20 minutes ago and asked if he had any comment about Capriati's accidental overdose and he declined because things were "fucking crazy right now" and he had nothing to say. He did suggest Deadspin talk to his manager, though, since "we will have something soon." Mr. DaBone left the phone to go grab the number of his manager and could be overheard talking to someone else saying, "Fuck. It's starting already." Like, woah, DaBone.

In a recent interview with porn personality/interviewer/podcaster, Jason Sechrest, Dabone opened up about his life with Capriati and how his love for her initiated his brief exit from the adultentertainment industry. "I was in love. The porn thing came out and I had to hide it so I quit porn. It caught up with us. We couldn't go anywhere together because they would just rip us apart.It was fucked up because I treated her like a queen," he says. "I went above and beyond because of the porn thing and she cheated a bunch. …What can you do? It really killed me."
