Aldon Smith Arrested For DUI, Hit And Run, Vandalism [Update]

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith was arrested by Santa Clara police last night. There isn’t an abundance of details right now, but it doesn’t sound good.

He is currently in jail, being held on $26,000 bail.

We’ll update as more info comes in.

Update (2:31 p.m.): The 49ers reportedly plan on cutting Smith.

Smith also briefly talked to an NBC Bay Area reporter today, claiming that “it wasn’t a DUI.”
