Alvin Kamara Still Isn't Fucking Over That Minneapolis Miracle Shit
credits: Sean Gardner | source: Getty Bleacher Report’s Master Tesfatsion went long on Saints running back Alvin Kamara, who’s described as a “reluctant star.” Kamara, the reigning NFL offensive rookie of the year, really opened up to Tesfatsion, especially on the topic of the Minneapolis Miracle that bounced the Saints from the playoffs last season. It’s pretty safe to say that loss still doesn’t sit well with Kamara.
Let’s count the “fucks” and the “shits”:
“It’s a certain point where you fucking just do everything could do, and shit still don’t go your way. That’s how I felt about that game. I felt like we did everything. We came all the way back, and then shit just happened like that. That’s like some one-in-a-million-type shit.
“I couldn’t even be mad. I was mad, of course, but it was like how does that even fucking happen? That’s not even real. It’s almost not realistic, like what the fuck?”
That’s three fucks and four shits in one train of thought. Not bad. But Kamara had even more in him when talking about the team that went on to win the Super Bowl:
“We’d beat the shit out of [the Eagles] cause we was rolling. If we won [versus Minnesota], I knew nobody was gonna stop us cause we came all the way back.”
Shit yeah. Anything else?
“We know what the standard is,” Kamara says before pausing for a few seconds. “So, yeah, fuck Minnesota.”
So, yeah, Alvin Kamara is fucking great.
