Baker Mayfield Won't Do An NFL Draft Live Shot And Is On ESPN's "Character Concerns" List
The NFL draft will be taking place inside the Dallas Cowboys’ stadium this weekend, and ESPN’s broadcast team is currently holed up in a nearby hotel preparing for the big day. Based on images provided by a source, that preparation involves writing a lot of stuff on whiteboards.
We’re told these boards were set up in a conference room that ESPN is using. Here we have a handy pronunciation guide for some of the players with more difficult names, as well as a big red list of players who have been deemed to have “Character Concerns”:
So now you know exactly how to pronounce Minkah Fitzpatrick, and which players are going to have Mel Kiper droning on about “off-field issues.” Would you like to know which players who will be at the draft declined to be available for live shots?
So it seems like we won’t be seeing Mayfield, who is not attending the draft, on ESPN at all. Hopefully he’ll have a relaxing evening.
