The Bengals offense has been phenomenal this season, but the defense routinely lets them down. They’re 1-3 in their last four games despite scoring 27-plus points in all of them.
Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow leads the league in passing yards (3,337) and passing touchdowns (30). The rushing attack has been pedestrian at best, but it’s been OK because of how fantastic Burrow has been.
This season, the Cowboys are allowing nearly 230 passing yards and 1.42 passing touchdowns per game. They’ve allowed multiple touchdown passes in three of the last five games. They managed to hold Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud and New York Giants quarterback Drew Lock to zero touchdowns.

Now, let’s discuss the Bengals defense. Spoiler alert: It’s been really bad.
They allow nearly 251 passing yards and 1.83 passing touchdowns per game. They’ve allowed multiple touchdown passes in each of the last three games.
While this defense isn’t good whatsoever this season, I still have reservations regarding how well this Cowboys offense with Cooper Rush can do. Rush threw for 195 yards and a touchdown last week. The week before that, he had 247 yards and two touchdowns. On top of that, Lamb is beat up heading into this game.
I think the Bengals defense will allow more production than expected, but the Cowboys defense will get battered by Burrow. He’d be the league MVP if not for the 4-8 mark.
Take the Bengals -5.5. I don’t think the Cowboys can keep pace despite the Bengals defense.
