The Colts have benched quarterback Anthony Richardson following a game in which he controversially took himself out of the game due to being tired. In his place will be veteran quarterback Joe Flacco.

With Flacco under center in this game, I’m taking the Colts +5. Flacco has started two games this season, and in those games, he threw for five touchdowns, one interception, and threw for 359 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Vikings are allowing 284.43 passing yards and two passing touchdowns per game this season, and I think Flacco will do enough to take advantage of that.
An outright win could be tough due to the Vikings offense and their defense averaging 1.71 interceptions per game, but Flacco should be able to keep this one close and cover at +5.
