Even during their bye week, the Jaguars were the biggest winners in Week 7. All three of their AFC South Divisional rivals lost last week. That means that the Jaguars are the only team with a winning record in the Division. Back at home after their overseas adventure, expect the players to be fired up to put on a show for the home fans. The Jaguars are playing better football and, on paper, should beat the Colts and move to 5-2 for the season.
The visiting Colts side has slipped to 2-5 after three straight losses. The performances have been poor, and the pressure is building on QB Daniel Jones. Unfortunately, Jones has not looked the same after his ACL injury. He has struggled to air the ball, and there have been calls for him to be benched. If he struggles once again in Week 8, we could be looking at a change in QB for the remainder of the Colts’ season.
