If you decide to use your Kalshi bonus funds on the Yankees vs Mets matchup, you will be able to choose from a wide selection of markets, including game lines, player props and team props. Each market poses a question (for example, ‘Will the Mets score over 2.5 runs?’) and you need to buy contracts in one of the potential outcomes. Each outcome is priced between $0.01 and $0.99, with higher prices indicating a greater perceived likelihood of the outcome occurring.
Once events have concluded, all successful contracts settle at $1 each, whilst unsuccessful contracts all settle at $0. For example, if you purchase 50 contracts at a price of $0.40 each on the Mets scoring over 2.5 runs, it will cost you $20 ($0.40 x 50). If the Mets subsequently win the game, you will receive a payout of $50 ($1 x 50), thus giving you an overall profit of $30 ($50 – $20).
