Great news for Missouri residents! Online sports betting is officially coming to this US state, following a ballot initiative in November 2024. Now, the state’s gaming commission has set December 1, 2025, (12:00 AM) as the statewide launch date.
Right now, Missouri players can pre-register and deposit on licensed sportsbooks. This early sign-up offers residents the opportunity to receive exclusive launch-day bonuses and enhance their betting experience. On this page, we’ll review what to expect ahead of the December launch and discuss some of the platforms (BetMGM, bet365, Caesars, FanDuel, DraftKings, and Fanatics) coming to the Show-Me State.
25+ sports markets. Generous welcome bonus. Frequent odds-boosts. T&Cs and 21+ apply
Yes. Plans are underway for MO residents to start wagering on sports events by December 1, 2025. This development follows the passage of Amendment 2 in November 2024, which officially legalized sports betting within the state. The Missouri Gaming Commission (MGC) has overseen the regulation of this new industry.
Under the new legislation, the MGC will issue up to 14 sports betting operator licenses. Six of these licenses are designated for in-state casinos, while another six will be associated with Missouri’s professional sports teams.
Notably, two untethered licenses have been awarded to DraftKings and Circa Sports. That means these operators will operate independently without requiring a partnership with a land-based casino or a professional sports team in MO.
Ahead of this December’s launch, many of the leading sportsbooks in the US (such as BetMGM, bet365, Caesars, FanDuel, DraftKings, and Fanatics) will be available. They’ve successfully obtained licenses to operate in the state of Missouri. The table below provides an overview.

BetMGM is one of the leaders coming to Missouri on December 1. It’s tied to Century Casinos in MO and is famous for its generous welcome bonus: receive up to $1,500 if your first wager loses. MO users can also receive $100 in bonus bets if they make a deposit (minimum deposit on the platform is $10) before the launch date. Notably, these offers are valid for only 7 days after they are awarded.
The platform features a sleek, user-friendly mobile app for on-the-go sports betting. MO residents will find a huge range of sports, including the National Football League (NFL), the National Basketball Association (NBA), Major League Baseball (MLB), Soccer, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), and many more. The sportsbook also features frequent promotions to keep things exciting.
bet365 is a global giant launching its US app (already live in Kansas) in Missouri. It offers almost every major sporting event, including soccer, football, basketball, hockey, sailing, racing, and more. It also features a very fast and responsive website and app, with live streaming and cash-out options.
New MO players can receive a solid welcome bonus of bet $10, get $365 (regardless of the outcome), as well as daily promotions to enhance their betting experience. Despite being a reputable brand worldwide, this platform is not legal in every state, though Missouri will be one of the launch states.
Caesars Sportsbook is a well-known, established brand in the US. In Missouri, it’ll leverage its partnerships with Harrah’s Kansas City and Horseshoe St. Louis casinos to provide a wide variety of sports and betting markets.
Additionally, it features a generous welcome offer: bet $5 and receive a $150 bonus if you win, plus five 100% profit boost tokens (up to $25 each). That means you can double your potential winnings up to $25. The mobile app performs well and is user-friendly. It also has excellent customer service.
FanDuel is already a top US brand (dominant in many states) and will go live under Kansas Star Casino’s license in MO. It’s famous for its user-friendly app, wide sports selection, and frequent offers. It boasts a welcome offer of up to $400 in bonus bets when you bet $5.
The sportsbook covers all major leagues and offers a variety of prop bets. It features one of the most stable apps and provides generous welcome promotions for new players. Like a couple of other platforms, FanDuel isn’t available in every state, but it’ll be live in Missouri on launch day.
DraftKings, originally a fantasy sports giant, is one of the busiest sportsbooks around. It’s already live in 25+ US states and will launch in Missouri on December 1. It boasts an amazing range of betting options and is one of the best apps in the business.
You’ll find tons of betting markets across every sport, enjoy super-fast withdrawals, and play on the go with its mobile apps (available on iOS and Android devices). MO players will get a welcome offer of $300 in bonus bets from DraftKings when they deposit at least $50.
Fanatics Sportsbook is the new kid on the block (powered by PointsBet), launching in MO with a Boyd Gaming license. This platform emphasizes player rewards, with a strong loyalty program and very competitive odds.
The mobile app is smooth and fast, and transaction times are quick. Fanatics usually runs numerous promotions, including its sign-up deal: bet $50, get $3,000 in FanCash (15 x $200 No Sweat Bets). Here, the operator refunds your daily losing wager, up to $200 in bonus bets. Notably, MO residents can download and use the Fanatics app on their mobile devices to place bets (no website is available).
