Borussia Dortmund Scores Two Goals In Stoppage Time To Steal A Place In The Champions League Semifinals
The Westfalenstadion crowd exploded as Borussia Dortmund scored twice in stoppage time to overcome Málaga and earn a spot in the final four of Europe's most prestigious competition today.
Felipe Santana's goal in the third minute of added time came moments after Marco Reus gave Die Schwarzgelben faint hope. Dortmund needed to outscore Málaga thanks to being behind on away goal differential; the Spanish side had all but assumed advancing themselves when Eliseu flipped the ball into an empty goal on what appeared to be an offside play in the 82nd minute.
Santana's goal, too, looked to be offside, but if one believes in a fair turn of events, this would be it. [Fox Soccer]
