Boxer Urges Opponent To Fight, Is Immediately Knocked Out
This junior middleweight bout in Florida provides a nice little entry for the Be Careful What You Wish For file.
In the fifth round of Saturday's fight between Miguel Zuniga and Daquan Arnett, Zuniga was pressuring Arnett, moving him up against the ropes. They exchanged blows, and Zuniga eventually stepped back, motioning for Arnett to come at him. Arnett obliged him right on the chin.
According to ESPN, Zuniga was able to get to his feet, but he was out of it. His corner threw in the towel while the referee assessed his condition and the fight was stopped at 1:37 of the fifth round.
