Brazilian MMA Fighter Dies Minutes Before Weigh-In
MMA fighter Leandro "Feijao" Souza died Thursday before weigh-ins for Friday's Shooto Brazil 43 card.
The 26-year-old Souza passed out while reportedly cutting weight before a weigh-in for his flyweight fight against Gabriel Brasil. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
The cause of death is related to Souza's cutting weight, but the details are unknown.
