Derek Dooley Done At Tennessee

"Dooley fired"—which has been trending on Twitter once a week for about two years—is finally turning up some real results.

The embattled Dooley, part of Nick Saban's coaching tree and son of long-time UGA coach Vince Dooley, started at UT in 2010. His results, by year, went from "surprisingly good" in 2010—when the Vols finished 6-6 despite losing players when Lane Kiffin left—to "disappointing" in 2011, when the team dropped to 5-7 and lost their bowl game, to, finally, "oh God, my eyes" in 2012. HIghlights from this season include an 0-6 record in the SEC, the 113th best defense in the FBS, and Derek Dooley coaching from a stool.

Neutrality disputed! As for the Volunteers' next coach, well, the state of Tennessee has at least one idea.
