OK, so right now, the new DraftKings Customer Offer: Bet $5, Get $200 + 3 Months of NBA League Pass! is active in Illinois, which is great news for prospective new sign-ups. The name of this bonus might allude to an offer that, frankly, sounds too good to be true, but it’s 100% legit. Extract maximum value from the latest DK bonus for IL with the essential tips, tricks, and insights below.
Take a look at the upcoming fixtures list before you activate the DraftKings welcome bonus. That way, you can use your bonus bets on sports and teams you want to bet on within the 7-day time limit – be it the Bulls, the Bears, or another local fan favorite.
Note that the DraftKings bonus bets cannot be combined with other offers. So, if you spot another DraftKings promotion, you’ll need to use up your bonus bets before you can make use of supplementary deals aimed at existing members.
Don’t attempt to use the bonus bets on the DraftKings Casino. Only the DraftKings Sportsbook is legal in Illinois, so you won’t be able to use the credit to play slots and table games.
Research the best upcoming odds before you activate the welcome bonus. There is no minimum qualifying odds requirement attached to the DraftKings bonus bets, so it could pay to shop around to find the best odds when it comes to using your bonus bets.
Look further afield than Illinois sports teams. While you may be eager to wager on the Blackhawks or the White Sox, remember that DraftKings covers hundreds of other sports and markets. So, it could be worth trying out different leagues and sports.
Multiple betting options. 20+ sports represented. Solid welcome bonus. T&Cs and 21+ apply
It’s fair to say that DraftKings has come through with a welcome bonus that’s hard to walk away from. Of all the sportsbook welcome deals currently available in the Land of Lincoln, we’d say that this is up there as one of the most generous, as well as one of the easiest to claim. And you can even check out our full review of DraftKings sportsbook to make sure it’s the right betting site for you. With no bonus code required, you can get up to $200 in Bonus Bets plus 3 months of NBA League Pass with a qualifying $5+ first-time bet.
One thing we would say about DK’s IL sportsbook sign-up offer is that the expiry window for using those bonus bets is comparatively short. With just seven days to use each $50 batch of Bonus Bets, you’ll need to act decisively if you’re to use the full amount before it disappears.
Unfortunately, no. The DraftKings “Bet $5, Get $200 + 3 Months of NBA League Pass!” promo is exclusively available to new customers who’ve never held an account with the brand before.
Nope, you don’t. While there is a promo code box on the brand’s registration page, there’s no need to add a code to claim this particular deal. If that changes, we’ll let you know.
Nope, the value of the bonus bet is excluded from the amount you can withdraw. You’ll only be able to withdraw winnings accrued when using the bonus, not the bonus itself.
