The only way a sports bettor in Ohio does not know DraftKings is if they’re living in Ash Cave in the Hocking Hills region. For those who know and want a rewarding experience, let’s discuss the DraftKings Ohio promo code.
In this piece, I will dissect the promo offer, the best way to utilize it, and other ongoing bonuses I found on the sports betting site. Additionally, I’ll touch on the key terms and conditions to always keep in mind regarding DraftKings rewards in Ohio. That said, let’s get to the fun stuff.
DraftKings is like every other sportsbook in the sense that it welcomes new customers to its site with some sort of offer. When you sign up on DraftKings, you’re automatically eligible for the ‘New DraftKings Customers: Bet $5, Get $200 + 3 Months of NBA League Pass!‘ offer. Available for all SPO states. But at this point, signing up only makes you eligible. You must make a qualifying deposit of at least $5 and bet $5 to actually claim the bonus. The bonus will be issued as $50 in Bonus Bets every seven days via click-to-claim for 21 days. The bonus bets and click-to-claims will expire seven days (168 hours) after issuance. Also, the bonus bets are non-withdrawable, and the stake is not returned in the payout.
The offer includes one promotional code for a complimentary three-month NBA League Pass subscription. The subscription automatically renews monthly at the then-current price unless cancelled. The sportsbook offer ends November 29, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. The NBA League Pass code must be redeemed by December 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.

DraftKings takes out all the complications and bureaucracies I often see with claiming the promo offers from other sportsbooks. As you already know, you don’t need any promo codes to secure DraftKings sportsbook bonuses. It is a straightforward process, and you only have to follow these 4 simple steps below:
That’s all there really is to it. All that’s left to do after step 4 is to wait for your wager to settle. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose; you get your offer anyway. Just make sure you’re at least 21 and physically present in Ohio at the time of this entire operation.
In this next part, I’m going to introduce you to key conditions to always remember when handling the bonuses on this sportsbook. Without wasting any more whitespace, let’s get into it.
After looking at over a hundred different sportsbooks, plus a thousand rounds of DraftKings sportsbook reviews, I can confidently assert that all promos typically have their terms and conditions. It’s completely normal. As the bettor, you’ve got to study these details for yourself. That way, you can understand how everything works to avoid surprises. Below are highlights of the promo code offer terms:
As of Monday, August 25th 2025, credit cards are no longer accepted as a deposit method on Sportsbook, DK Casino, and GNOG products. Credit cards are still able to be used for Fantasy Sports products in jurisdictions that permit them.
As you have these conditions in your conscious mind, you should be fine. Now that we’ve knocked all of that out of the way, let’s quickly touch on some expert tips that could be really handy in utilizing this promo.
You know the bonus, plus the intricate details and even conditions. What follows is to put it to use in a way that brings you the most returns. That’s what I am going to be talking about briefly in this part.
Every welcome bonus comes with its own rules and setup. I always tell people to take a moment to read the details. It helps to know exactly what you’re getting. For example, you’ll have to be aware that you won’t receive the full $200 + 3 Months of NBA League Pass! in one singular bonus bet, but rather will be credited with bonus bets, each with separate expiry dates.
This point is super important because if you slip, DraftKings will unapologetically phase out its bonus bet after the validity period. And there’s nothing you’d be able to do about it, so help yourself by using them quickly and within the window.
Remember, this offer applies whether you win or lose. So, there’s nothing to lose. Think of it as a fantastic opportunity to take a bigger risk for a potentially better outcome. The reasoning here is pretty straightforward.
Multiple betting options. 20+ sports represented. Solid welcome bonus. T&Cs and 21+ apply
I’ve come to really appreciate the promo code offer, its structure, and the fair terms and conditions. Clearly, this was put together to give Ohio gamers an opportunity to enjoy a near-free betting episode for just $5. It’s indeed a fantastic deal when you realize your $200 + 3 Months of NBA League Pass! bonus bets are useful across any sports market. Sign up on DraftKings today and start enjoying a rewarding sports betting experience.
No, there’s no traditional promo code for customers in Ohio. New customers from the state only have to make a qualifying $5 deposit and wager at least $5 to enjoy a $200 + 3 Months of NBA League Pass! in bonuses.
No. Throughout my review, I never encountered any mention of a wagering requirement for the promo code bonus. I’ve spoken to a couple of gamer buddies, too, and they seem to be of the same school of thought.
Unfortunately, no. Bonus bets are strictly for betting on DraftKings. You can withdraw the wins you secure from this offer, though.
