The DraftKings welcome bonus is fairly competitive, but you can explore our list of all sportsbooks in Pennsylvania for alternative and possibly better bonuses.
Here are some pros and cons I observed while claiming and using the DraftKings Sportsbook promo code in PA for new customers:
You don’t have to enter a promo code on DraftKings PA to claim your welcome bonus, but that doesn’t mean the process is action-free. From signing up to placing a qualifying wager, here is a step-by-step guide to using the DraftKings bonus code in PA:
A qualifying wager is effectively any wager of $5 or more on DraftKings’ Sportsbook. The terms and conditions cover all betting markets, with the exception of bets placed using bonus bets. To qualify for the new customer bonus, your initial wager must be a cash bet, not a bonus bet. Also, while there’s always an option to enter DraftKings bonus codes when signing up, you don’t have to enter one to claim the welcome bonus.
Also, it’s worth noting that DraftKings structures the welcome bonus that you receive it instantly in one lump sum rather than in increments. In short, you are free to use your bonus bets from your welcome bonus on any sports available. Also thanks to the low 1x wagering requirement, you can keep whatever you win from betting using your bonus.

From what I’ve revealed so far, it should be pretty clear that using a DraftKings Sportsbook promo code in Pennsylvania comes with a truckload of terms and conditions, some of which you should know before and while using the bonus. I went through all the bonus terms and conditions before preparing this guide, and here are quick highlights of the key terms and conditions I think you should know:
As of Monday, August 25th 2025, credit cards are no longer accepted as a deposit method on Sportsbook, DK Casino, and GNOG products. Credit cards are still able to be used for Fantasy Sports products in jurisdictions that permit them.
Here’s a breakdown of all major terms in a simple table:

| Qualifying wager amount | $5 |
| bonus bets amount | New DraftKings Customers: Bet $5, Get $200 + 3 Months of NBA League Pass! |

The bonus bets on DraftKings are subject to a 168-hour expiry window that starts counting as soon as you get the bonus in your account. Long story short, you forfeit the bonus or whatever’s left of it if you fail to exhaust the bonus or complete the wagering requirements within the seven-day window.

I’m almost like a broken record at this point, but that indicates how important it is to go through the bonus terms for the DraftKings welcome bonus at least once. It’s not your average terms and conditions: it’s concise and easy to read, and you’ll get through it in a few minutes at most.
