Drake Makes Terrible Little League Pun, Throws Loyalties Into Question
Photo Credit: Tom Szczerbowski/ [object Object] Noted Canadian Drake has come out in support of Team United States in the Little League World Series.
(Terrible wordplay courtesy of the fact that the American champions are New York’s Maine-Endwell Little League.)
On its surface, a nice endorsement of the team before they faced off against international champs South Korea in the Little League World Series this afternoon—not a betrayal of his homeland, as Canada was bounced from the tournament earlier this week, just an example of Drake supporting yet another sports team.
But consider that Drake didn’t express social media support for Team Canada at any point this month. Consider that, as far as a few cursory searches and scrolls through his accounts show, he has never so much as mentioned Canada’s Little League teams.
Hmm.
