GSTF Book Tour Stop: Los Angeles, California
We had a grand time at the Book Soup reading last night, once we finally found freaking parking. It has been more than a decade since we lived in Los Angeles. We had kind of forgotten. But the real highlight was the reading going on next door to ours: It included appearances by Eric Roberts, Danny Trejo and Kato Kaelin. L.A. rules.
The reading itself was grand — and we're really starting to nail the Rocker accent, if by "nail," you mean "sound exactly like our dad" — but the real fun was had afterwards, where we watched the Democrats work themselves into a draw and played some Guitar Hero. Poorly. You can see photos of the whole event thing right here. Next stop: San Francisco! (OK, Alameda.) We're driving there today and will be there in time for the 7:30 p.m. start tonight. Hope to see you there.
