ESPN.com Passes Along Kessel-For-Nash Rumor, As Reported By Fake Pierre McGuire Twitter Account
ESPN's rumor section is a place to find some of the more out-there trade possibilities, so we don't go in expecting everything prophesied to come true. We just kind of hope that when a blockbuster trade possibility is floated, the source is a real person.
This item (Insider only, but trust us) piggybacks on the fact that Toronto and Columbus GMs met yesterday to talk Rick Nash, but includes the news that any potential Maple Leafs package would include Phil Kessel. The link to that nugget leads to one of the many fake Pierre McGuire Twitter accounts out there, which seems to be the only source for Kessel's name.
Meh, still more trustworthy than Eklund.
