ESPN-Created Star Tim Tebow Joins ESPN To Be ESPN Star
ESPN loved Tim Tebow. Now, it has Tim Tebow.
Tebow has signed a deal with the Worldwide Leader to be a college football analyst for the ESPN-owned SEC Network, launching in August 2014. Until then, Tebow will still stay busy with other appearances on ESPN. When you watch Florida State and Auburn play next Monday, Tebow will be there! Aren't you excited?
From the press release:
On Monday, Jan. 6, Tebow will make his first appearance as an ESPN analyst during pregame coverage of the 2013 VIZIO BCS National Championship. He will contribute to the 9 a.m. ET edition of SportsCenter, College Football Live (3 p.m.) and College GameDay Built by The Home Depot (7 p.m.). He will also be part of studio coverage for the new College Football Playoff (semifinals and championship game), which begins next season.
This career choice doesn't mean Tebow's ending his NFL aspirations, though. There's an option for him to leave should a team come calling.
