Finger-Lickin' Good: Your Eagles-Chiefs GIF Roundup

Kansas City 26, Philadelphia 16: Everything about this image screams "meth." Except for the two people dressed like adults. They scream "employed."

The game started off a little dicey for Michael Vick and the Eagles and never really improved. Early on, he telegraphed a passed that was tipped by a linebacker and taken back for six points by Eric Berry.

It put the Eagles down 10-0 early, but Michael Vick bounced back, looking like Atlanta-Era Vick (he had 85 yards rushing before the end of the first quarter). He rattled off a big 61-yard run and then floated a beautiful pass to the corner of the endzone for Jason Avant. Then, weirdly, the Eagles tried for the two-point conversion. It did not work.

Vick again had a big rushing gain, but this time it was instantly negated with this bizarre, sideways snap, recovered by KC.

LeSean McCoy went down with some kind of leg injury that initially looked really bad and then looked maybe-not-so-bad before the half and a forgotten blip once the second half started. But right before the half ended, Alex Smith broke out the ol make-everyone-dizzy Hail Mary. It almost worked.

Aside from a fight breaking out, the second half was pretty meh until both teams sort of woke up in the fourth quarter and traded scoring drives. In the end, Andy Reid's offense kept Chip Kelly's off the field, picking up crucial first downs for most of the fourth quarter. The Chiefs' final scoring drive was a 15 play, 75-yard drive that chewed up 8:15 of clock and pushed the score to 26-16. The Eagles were left with 3:21 to score 10 points. They would not and the score would hold for Kansas City.

The Chiefs are now 3-0 and the early-surprise Eagles are 1-2. The good news is the NFC East is garbage and this was week was a quick turnaround for the Eagles. The bad news is that crazy start against the Redskins feels like a different season.
