BetMGM Announces Missouri Sports Betting Partnership With St. Louis Blues

BetMGM’s vision for the Missouri sports betting market continues to grow. The latest example of this is the announcement of a sports betting partnership with the NHL’s St. Louis Blues.  The multi-year agreement includes prominent BetMGM signage and branding throughout the Enterprise Center at Blues home games. There will be co-branded social media content and premium hospitality experiences as well.

BetMGM building on its Missouri sports betting launch

BetMGM Sportsbook has been live in Missouri since December 1. It’s one of eight Missouri sports betting apps that have been available from the start. The operator has market access via the Century Casinos sports betting license. The Century Casino Cape Girardeau property includes a BetMGM-branded sportsbook that’s open until 11 p.m. CT every day. The space features dozens of HD screens and self-service BetMGM betting kiosks.

Based on BetMGM’s recently released ‘Mullet Over’ Commercial with NHL star Connor McDavid, which promotes responsible play, partnering with a hockey club is a great fit to build brand awareness with St. Louis sports bettors. BetMGM also has a separate partnership with NHL all-time great Wayne Gretzky.

Blues looking to help spread RG messaging

As of now, the Missouri sports betting license connected to the St. Louis Blues remains available. The NHL club is going the partnership route that allows brands like BetMGM to familiarize fans with its product. The Blues have a partnership with DraftKings Sportsbook as well.  That deal was announced before Missouri’s sports betting launch.

For BetMGM, the partnership with the Blues is an opportunity to promote responsible gambling. Besides having several RG tools available on its platform, BetMGM provides customers with valuable resources like GameSense, an industry-leading program that was developed and licensed to MGM Resorts by the British Columbia Lottery Commission. The concept is about keeping gambling fun while providing tips and information.

The Blues are looking forward to doing their part to help spread the messaging.
