
Responsible Gaming Education Month is here, and BetMGM along with DraftKings are partnering with the American Gaming Association (AGA) to promote programs. Both companies are using the start of another NFL season as a springboard to spread the word.
BetMGM has announced plans that include adding Lincoln Financial Field to its list of NFL stadiums where GameSense messaging will appear. Besides being home to the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, it’s the site of the September 4 NFL regular season opener. The messaging will appear at 10 stadiums this season.
DraftKings has rolled out My Budget Builder tool this season as its latest measure to encourage responsible play and making informed choices. According to the press release, My Budget Builder, which launched in June, is the latest tool to help users better understand their play over time.
Fans of several NFL teams will notice BetMGM’s GameSense messaging prominently featured on stadium scoreboards during pre-game activities. Besides Lincoln Financial Field, the nine other stadiums that will help spread the word are:
All of the stadiums are in states where sports betting is legal or about to be legal. Missouri sports betting is targeting a December 2025 launch.
“Placing GameSense in league stadiums gives us direct access to millions of fans each week,” Rhea Loney, BetMGM chief compliance officer, said. “It’s a powerful platform to promote public awareness and amplify our company’s commitment to provide a safe and informed gambling experience.”
The industry-leading GameSense program has been around since 2017. It was developed and licensed to MGM Resorts by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.
DraftKings customers can now use My Budget Builder and the previously
existing My Stat Sheet tools together. The newest offering builds on the momentum of My Stat Sheet that offers customers a clear, personalized summary of their play activity. According to DraftKings, My Stat Sheet, which debuted over a year ago, has been used by 3.4 million customers.
DraftKings is reinforcing its RG commitment this season by sharing a new code of responsible play. The connected theme behind all the messaging is encouraging customers to play responsibly, respect everyone involved, and have fun.
DraftKings is keeping it fun all season long by holding weekly NFL ticket sweepstakes for customers who engage in responsible gaming. DraftKings customers who use My Budget Builder through Monday, September 8 have a chance to win NFL regular season tickets. The giveaway contest will continue over the next several weeks. This includes a chance of winning the grand prize – a Super Bowl LX trip. Customers who use My Stat Sheet during the final week of the sweepstakes promotion will be entered.

The AGA estimates that $30 billion in legal wagering will take place this NFL season.
