The DraftKings Responsible Gaming Center is getting an upgrade with the integration of Mindway AI’s award-winning Gamalyze tool. The announcement highlighted how the collaboration will build on DraftKings’ ongoing commitment to educating players by adding a science-based experience tool to its current suite of industry-leading resources.
Mindway AI is known as a leader in neuroscience-based responsible gaming solutions.
Gamalyze separates itself from traditional self-assessments by evaluating actual decision-making during a simulated card game. This approach provides objective insights based on real behavior rather than self-reporting. Customers will receive tailored feedback from the experience to help them manage play responsibly.
In 2020, the product took home the Global Regulatory Award for Compliance Innovator of the Year.
Lori Kalani, Chief Responsible Gaming Officer at DraftKings said the informed decision-making approach is central to how the company engages with players.
“As more customers engage with tools like Gamalyze to better understand their personal play, we are continuing to enhance our culture of responsibility and innovation at DraftKings,” Kalani said.
The Gamalyze quiz can be found in DraftKings’ RG section, and it provides players with feedback on how they play. The purpose of this quick and insightful quiz is about helping customers play smart. There is a link that takes users to a third-party site.
Players who decide to participate draw 80 cards from four prearranged decks, with each draw resulting in a win or a loss. The starting balance is $2,000. Each card has positive or negative values, with the balance updating each time.
Midway through the game, a “Are you beginning to see a pattern?” message appears.
Once the game ends, players are asked “How risky did you play?”
At that point, players receive feedback including how they fared against other players who took the quiz. There is an option to download the report once the game is finished.
Like other legal online gambling sites, DraftKings Responsible Gaming menu also includes options for players to set deposit and loss limits, cool-off periods, and self-exclusion. Players will find Sportsbetting 101, bankroll basics, and smart betting tips guides as well.
