Less than a week from now, DraftKings Sportsbook along with eight other Missouri sports betting apps will be live in the Show Me State. The official Missouri sports betting launch takes place at 12:01 a.m. December 1.
In celebration of the Missouri market going live, DraftKings is hosting a ceremonial first bet event at The Palladium. Missouri sports legends Tony Gonzalez, Isaac Bruce, and Brett Hull will be part of the festivities.
The Missouri Gaming Commission (MGC) awarded DK one of the two available untethered licenses. Circa secured the other. The other seven operators needed to secure a market-access deal with either a land-based casino or professional sports team.
Missouri sports bettors have the green light to download and sign up for a DraftKings Sportsbook account. Users who pre-register for a DK will score $300 in bonus bets that can be used once Missouri sports betting goes live.
Missouri will become the 29th U.S. state for DraftKings Sportsbook. Additionally, as far as North America goes, the sports wagering app is available in Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and Ontario, Canada.
As part of the buildup for its newest market, DraftKings has partnered with the St. Louis Blues of the NHL. Through this marketing deal, DK gains in-arena visibility and integrated branding opportunities. DK has also been the official sports betting partner of the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs since 2022.
That visibility is about to get even bigger.
“DraftKings is built for passionate sports fans, making Missouri an exciting jurisdiction for us to enter with its rich sports culture, and several professional sports teams across the state,” Greg Karamitas, DraftKings’ Chief Revenue Officer, said via press release. “This is an incredible time of year for sports fans with NFL, NBA, NHL, college football, and college basketball all in-season, and we look forward to elevating the experience for Missouri sports fans, responsibly, with our top-rated sportsbook.”
When Missouri sports bettors open the DraftKings Sportsbook app, they will notice the platform includes several responsible gaming tools. My Stat Sheet is one of them, and it allows customers to monitor personalized gaming activity. Users are able to view results by month, year, and all time.
The My Budget Builder tool gives DK customers the option to set limits and reminders. The operator bills it as an easy-to-use experience. Setting deposit, loss, and time limits can be done right from the app as well.
Besides DraftKings and Circa, bettors will be able to choose from seven other apps
Missouri sports betting apps. The one recent change is that theScore Bet is replacing ESPN Bet. The rebranding is a result of Penn Entertainment and ESPN mutually agreeing to end their partnership. TheScore Bet was previously available to U.S. customers, but has more recently been operating north of the border in the Ontario market.
Caesars, bet365, Fanatics, FanDuel, and Underdog are the others.
