Erin Andrews is teaming up with FanDuel to serve as a Responsible Gaming Ambassador. If the name sounds familiar it’s because we’re talking about the same Andrews who serves as a sideline reporter on Fox Sports’ lead NFL broadcast team. It’s the one that includes play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt and former New England Patriots quarterback and now game analyst Tom Brady.
FanDuel shared the news that the partnership with Andrews brings a new dynamic to the company’s Responsible Gaming Ambassador program. Thanks to her deep roots in the sports world and strong connection to fans, adding Andrews to the team allows FanDuel to amplify its RG messaging.
This includes the company’s Play With A Plan initiative, which provides FanDuel Sportsbook and Cssswsasino customers with tools, resources, and education to help them make informed decisions about online gambling.
Andrews’ partnership with FanDuel will include creating RG content across social platforms and participating in key campaigns. She will also support broader educational awareness efforts. This will come in the form of social posts and short-form video content centered around RG education.
“I’ve seen first-hand how sports betting can become such a huge part of the fan experience, and FanDuel provides the tools and awareness to enjoy sports betting safely from the start,” Andrews said. “It’s so important for people to bet responsibly when gaming to ensure that this space remains safe for others.”
Andrews joins an expanding FanDuel Responsible Gaming Ambassador roster. The others are radio and TV personality Craig Carton, former NBA player Randy Livingston, and his wife Anita Ondine Smith. Carton and Livingston previously dealt with personal gambling addiction problems.
Cory Fox, Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Sustainability at FanDuel, said Andrews is somebody fans know and trust.
“By pairing her with our lived experience ambassadors, we’re expanding our ability to reach customers with messages that resonate,” Fox said. “Her authenticity and deep understanding of the sports landscape make her an ideal partner to reinforce the importance of Play With A Plan.”
It’s been a busy week for FanDuel as the sports betting operator also announced a historic partnership with Formula 1. FanDuel is now an official betting operator of F1, and marks the first time the global racing series is partnering with a U.S. sportsbook operator.
The deal includes:
Karol Corcoran, Managing Director of FanDuel Sportsbook, said this partnership marks an exciting step forward.
“Formula 1 generates an incredible amount of real-time data, and our platform is built to turn that into engaging betting opportunities for fans,” Corcoran said. “This partnership will allow us to deliver even more immersive, data-driven experiences throughout race weekend.”
As far as wagering goes, the FanDuel F1 betting menu currently includes outright winner, match specials, podium finish, and more.
