It seems Evolution is going with the philosophy that two brands are better than one. The company announced this week that Ezugi will be its second live dealer brand in the U.S.-regulated online casino space.
Ezugi is live in New Jersey, streaming from Evolution’s state-of-the-art studio in Atlantic City. The company did not share the specific hotel casino where the studio is based, and this information typically isn’t made public. The Garden State launch is the first step to a bigger plan that includes expanding the Ezugi offering into a new Michigan studio. It’s targeted to go live sometime during the first half of 2026.
Jacob Claesson, CEO of North America at Evolution, said introducing Ezugi as the company’s second live casino brand in the U.S. is an “important step in our North American growth strategy.” “Ezugi’s distinctive portfolio complements Evolution’s world-leading game shows and live casino range, enabling operators to deliver an even richer, more varied live gaming experience tailored to U.S. players,” Claesson said.
According to the press release, the initial rollout includes variations of baccarat and roulette streaming live from Evolution’s N.J. studio.
Land-based casino players might be familiar with EZ Baccarat, featuring the unique ‘Panda 8’ and ‘Dragon 7’ side bets supplied by Galaxy Gaming.
Ultimate Auto Roulette features a visually immersive chromakey circus-themed environment. Revolution Roulette introduces physical 2x, 3x, and 5x multiplier pockets on the traditional wheel. These games, already proven in other regulated markets, are integrated quickly and seamlessly through Evolution’s One Stop Shop platform.
Evolution’s live casino studio coming to Michigan will host a wide range of live titles, including Ezugi’s Ultimate Roulette and 000 Roulette. Both are expected to launch during the first half of 2026. Additionally, Ezugi is planning to bring its innovative Marble Race series to U.S. customers. Adding the Ezugi brand reinforces Evolution’s commitment to providing U.S. operators with an even wider and more diverse range of live casino content, catering to a wide spectrum of player preferences. These two brands operated as separate companies until 2019 when Evolution announced a deal to acquire Ezugi. At the time, Ezugi was operating live dealer studios worldwide, including New Jersey, Europe, Latin America, and South Africa.

The company’s first U.S. live dealer studio opened in August 2016 at Golden Nugget Atlantic City. Visitors actually walk right past the studio when arriving via the self-park garage. Following a 1,800 square foot expansion, the space expanded from 18 to 33 tables.
