FanDuel is rolling out several new sportsbook features ahead of the 2026 NFL season, including a loyalty program, expanded injury protection, and additional research tools. The operator announced the updates as part of an effort to give bettors more ways to manage wagers and research NFL markets within its platform. This aligns with its commitment to responsible gaming by encouraging users to make more informed selections with easier access to information.
One of the biggest additions is the FanDuel Rewards Club, a monthly loyalty program that allows customers to earn points through eligible sportsbook activity. Users can move through different reward levels, with benefits that include daily promotions, weekly rewards, milestone Challenges, and Rewards Boxes that contain additional offers.
FanDuel is also expanding Bet Protect+ to NFL markets. The optional feature costs an additional 3% of the wager. It provides protection on eligible player props if the player leaves the game due to injury and does not return. Qualifying straight bets are refunded in cash, while affected parlay legs are removed and the payout is recalculated.
The sportsbook is also adding more information to its Player Pages and Team Pages, including recent game logs, team records, standings, and performance data. FanDuel plans to build on those tools with player prop trends, injury information, and league rankings. This also includes Ask AceAI, an AI tool that will allow users to ask questions about statistics and betting markets before adding selections to their bet slip.
The updates give FanDuel users more ways to get value out of their sportsbook activity beyond simply placing bets. The FanDuel Rewards Club adds a more structured loyalty system, giving regular customers additional opportunities to earn promotions and rewards based on their activity.
Bet Protect+ is aimed at one of the more frustrating parts of player prop betting: losing a wager because of an early injury. While the feature comes with an added cost, it gives bettors the option to protect eligible wagers from certain injury-related bad beats.
FanDuel is also putting more emphasis on helping users research bets without leaving the app. Using Ask AceAI, users can access player trends, injury information, and expanded player pages, making it easier to compare data and make more informed wagers. By offering this tool, FanDuel is encouraging users to take their time researching their selection, providing easy access to pertinent data.
FanDuel’s push to give users more information before placing a wager also aligns with its emphasis on responsible gaming. The Ask AceAI feature is designed to help bettors by giving them more information to consider before making a selection rather than betting without context.
