Meet Your Deadspin Pool Winner
This image was lost some time after publication. We had 1,534 people join our Deadspin NCAA pool, but there was only one winner: Daniel Fearson, from Michigan, who ended up with the highest score with this "Van Halen Rules" entry. And you know what? Van Halen does rule.
Daniel didn't have George Mason in the Final Four, but he nailed the other three and had Florida over UCLA in the title game. He actually even made the front page — 32nd overall — in the total ESPN Leaderboard.
He receives the prize package, which, all told, consists of a whole bunch of stuff that we don't quite remember. But congrats: First out of 1,534, not too shabby. Pan-a-ma!
