Missouri Suspends QB Maty Mauk After Video Of Him Allegedly Doing Coke Surfaces
Missouri indefinitely suspended quarterback Maty Mauk Monday night, after a video surfaced on Twitter that shows a man, allegedly Mauk, snorting a line of something, allegedly cocaine.
Here is the video in question:
While it is dark and difficult to tell with 100% certainty that the man is Mauk—as well as impossible to know what he’s snorting—Missouri AD Mack Rhoades and coach Barry Odom reacted with uncommon speed to suspend Mauk.
Mauk was Missouri’s starting quarterback in 2014 and the first four games of 2015, before losing his job for a disciplinary reason. Just a few days after being reinstated by the team, he was suspended for the rest of the season after getting into a drunken bar confrontation. In 2012 he was arrested after allegedly fleeing the scene of a scooter accident.
