BigBux.io is a mystery box platform – you purchase physical items, but don’t know what they are until you open the package. It’s an exciting and gamified way to shop, with boxes available at a wide variety of price points.
As you’ll learn from my BigBux review, this is a totally legit platform that’s built on Provably Fair technology. It’s very easy to use, but I’ll walk you through how the site works anyway, including payments, shipping and how to register.
I’ll also explain the welcome bonus, which starts you off with three totally free mystery boxes.
Before getting too deep into my BigBux review, I’d better explain what this site actually is. It claims to offer a “gamified shopping” experience, and that’s a pretty good description of what’s going on.
In short, you pay real money for boxes of physical items, but you don’t know what’s inside until they’re opened. It’s a bit like those sites selling mystery collectible trading cards, only BigBux gives you the opportunity to unpack premium goods like smartphones, game consoles and expensive sneakers.
You’re not completely in the dark, of course. Before purchasing, you’ll see a list of potential goodies, and the percentage chance of pulling each one. But the excitement and entertainment value all lies in the big reveal, which unfolds online.
To make sure you understand the concept, here’s a breakdown of the “Big Big Box”, which is currently for sale at $736.
| Possible Item | Percentage Chance |
|---|---|
| Apple iPhone 13 128GB | 1% |
| Apple Watch Series 8 | 1% |
| AirPods (3rd Generation) | 2% |
| Jordan 1 Low sneakers | 12% |
| Jordan 1 Low Game Royal sneakers | 12% |
| Jordan 1 Retro High Turbo sneakers | 12% |
| Yeezy Foam RN sneakers | 12% |
| Other sneakers | 12% |
| Card Holder | 12% |
| Biker Shirt | 12% |
| Apple Headphones | 12% |
It certainly is. Every mystery box has its possible contents displayed – along with the probabilities of pulling each item – prior to purchase. In addition, the virtual unboxing uses Provably Fair technology to ensure everything is totally random.
Think of it like a virtual roll of the dice, only instead of six sides, there are 100,000,000. The outcome is determined by an encrypted code generated partly by the BigBux server, and completed by a seed from your browser.
Because it requires your input, BigBux couldn’t manipulate the result even if it wanted to. What’s more, all results are fully transparent and verifiable should you wish to investigate.

Okay, now that we understand how everything works, how do we get involved? Well, thanks to a very generous welcome bonus, you can start right away by opening 3 free boxes and an additional 20% up to $100 on your first deposit. New players who sign up via a referral code also receieves 5% welcome bonus on all deposits. This offer has no wagering requirement and is valid 7 days from the time of sign-up.
These bonus boxes are really useful, as they help you get to grips with the mechanics before spending any cash. They’re also potentially valuable, with gifts worth thousands of dollars up for grabs.
Wagering Needed (WR): No Demo Box – Real Boxes!. T&Cs and 18+ apply
When researching this BigBux review, I wanted to buy a box with my own money to see how everything works. I expected to just pick a box, enter my card details and pay, but that’s not quite how it unfolded.
Instead, you make a deposit to your BigBux account, then any future purchases are deducted from your balance. You can do this with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Tether and Ethereum, using more than 550 wallets.
Alternatively, link your bank card through Google Pay and Apple Pay. Regardless of your chosen payment method, a 2% processing fee applies when funding your account.
Unboxed items are added to a shopping cart, just like you’d see at any e-commerce website. This allows you to quickly and easily select whatever you’d like to redeem, then you simply press the “Ship” button.
I’m yet to see any BigBux unboxing reviews from people on YouTube, as the platform is still new. So it’s hard to gauge exactly how long the shipping process takes.
Still, according to the website, it requires three to five days for initial approval, then anything from two days to a month, depending on the items.
There appears to be some sort of loyalty or VIP program at BigBux, but there’s little information available on the website.
When I click on my user profile, it says “Bux Level: 0” and tells me I need 500 points to reach the next tier. Unfortunately, it doesn’t say anything more than that, and the FAQs don’t mention anything about it.
In the terms and conditions, it mentions Daily Drops, which are linked to your VIP level. But it only says these free rewards “may” be offered to you.
For now, there’s no clear breakdown of the points available per purchase, or what the potential benefits are for rising through the ranks. But BigBux only launched at the end of 2025, so we’re likely to see more details on the website soon.
If you’re enjoying your BigBux experience, it’s a good idea to tell your buddies. After all, there’s a 5% referral commission in it for you.
That’s right – you’ll get 5% of every deposit made by your referrals. Use the “Become Referrer” link on the BigBux website to learn more about this rewarding opportunity.
Part of my positive overall BigBux rating comes down to the simple but attractive website design. If there’s one thing that grinds my gears, it’s a busy site with so much going on that I don’t know where to begin.
I’m pleased to report that’s not what BigBux.io is about. Instead, you’re faced with a minimalist design that’s extremely intuitive and super easy to navigate. The layout feels just like your favorite online store, with easily scrollable pages of clearly-priced items.
There are several handy filters to help you find whatever you need, as well as a search bar. And if you click “View All”, you can also sort the mystery boxes by age and price point.
Because the website is responsive, it looks great on any smartphone or tablet. It’s just as easy to use as the desktop version, because it’s essentially the same thing – the site detects your hardware and optimizes the display accordingly.
Creators of BigBux reviews like mine will struggle to find any downsides to what is an excellent all-round mystery box platform. However, the lack of a mobile app is a minor complaint.
It would be great to see at least a progressive web application in future, if not dedicated native software for iOS and Android devices.
Every BigBux review in 2026 mentions the lack of a live chat support widget, and that’s certainly a shame. But if you drop the team a line using the on-site contact form, you’ll get a reply within 24 hours, and they’re very helpful.
You can also reach out via three social media channels – Facebook, X and Instagram.
There’s no guarantee of a quick response via social media, so if it’s a serious issue you’d be better off using the contact form. However, you might get a reply from other members of the BigBux community.

My overall BigBux rating is positive, as I think the concept is great fun. More importantly, though, it’s a well executed product, with prices to suit all wallets and a website that’s easy to use.
Powered by Provably Fair technology, with transparent probability displays, you can be confident your gamified shopping experience is as secure as it is exciting. The lack of an app is a minor inconvenience in what is an otherwise flawless platform.
Payments are quick and easy, thanks to convenient methods like Google Play, plus dozens of popular cryptocurrencies. While the range of prizes is genuinely exciting – there’s everything from clothing and cosmetics, to Rolex watches and Apple products.
Join BigBux today and open not one, but three mystery boxes, absolutely free.
BigBux is a mystery box platform. You purchase boxes of physical items without knowing what’s inside, so the contents could be worth more or less than the price you paid. This makes for an exciting unboxing experience. My BigBux review explains more about how it all works.
BigBux is definitely not a scam. The platform is built on Provably Fair technology, and the probabilities of your box containing specific items are clearly displayed on the website. Everything about this gamified shopping experience is completely transparent.
Before purchasing a mystery box, BigBux shows you the probability of finding various items. Scroll down below the box name to see a long list of potential prizes, including the percentage chance of each one.
To buy a mystery box, you must fund your account. For my BigBux test, I used a credit card through Google Pay, but cryptocurrency is also an option. You can link more than 550 wallets to your BigBux account, including Coinbase and MetaMask.
The contents of opened boxes are displayed in your cart. Select the items you want to receive and press “Ship”, but make sure your profile – especially your home address – is updated and verified first. Shipping times vary by item, ranging from two days to one month.
