ClutchPacks is a relatively new name in the mystery box space, having launched in 2025, and it’s already setting itself apart from more established competitors. While some users may initially look for promo codes or sign-up bonuses, it’s worth noting that ClutchPacks currently doesn’t offer any promotions – a choice that may evolve as the platform grows.
That said, the absence of discounts isn’t necessarily a drawback. In fact, ClutchPacks takes a slightly different approach compared to typical mystery box sites, focusing instead on its core experience and features.
In this review, I’ll break down exactly how it works, what makes it unique, and whether it’s worth your time.

The only thing I found that even comes close to a promotion, despite it being more of a consumer guarantee, is the “Risk Free First Pack” which is mentioned in Section 5 of the ClutchPack Terms and Conditions document.
In essence, if you are unhappy with your first ClutchPack purchase, the brand will refund the full purchase price. The brand states that the ‘guarantee’ is valid for any ClutchPack. How the refund happens will ultimately depend on the value of the card you pulled when you opened the ClutchPack.
Firstly, the brand will ‘buy’ the card from you based on its current market valuation, and that amount will be returned to your payment method. If the card is valued below the original cost of the ClutchPack, the balance will be added to your user account as credits.
User safety and compliance with regulations are the first two things I check when I land on a new mystery box site. There is little to see on the ClutchPacks site in terms of security information. However, standard SSL encryption is in place, and the brand states that all payments are handled off-site by third-party providers.
In terms of complying with consumer protection laws, ClutchPacks does have a Terms and Conditions document displayed on its site, but it would be nice to see some information provided in less formal terms too.
ClutchPacks also satisfies other requirements by providing a clear price structure for ClutchPacks, and the percentage probability of pulling any given card.
As I mentioned in my main ClutchPacks review, the brand has opted to specialize in high-quality trading cards. There are currently 16 ‘ClutchPacks’ available.
Interestingly, all of the packs currently available are displayed under a ‘Launch Series’ heading, which suggests to me that there will be more to come when the brand finds its feet.
Where most mystery box sites display their products as a chest, or box, ClutchPacks has gone with a shiny ‘sealed pack’ look, similar to the collectible card packs you might find in a retail store.
Where some of the best mystery box sites animate the opening process to add some fun, Clutch Packs has taken a more “professional” approach. When you click on a ClutchPack, the contents are displayed on a grid, revealing all of the cards you can potentially pull. Although the quantity may be small, the quality is there to see.
When you’ve purchased and opened a ClutchPack, you have a few options. You can use the ‘buyback’ process to sell the card you’ve pulled. The price you will be offered is determined by the current market value of the card. If you want to keep the card, you can store it safely in the ClutchPacks blockchain ‘vault’, or you can have the physical card posted to you, which will incur shipping fees.
Where most competitor brands have varying prices, ClutchPacks has once again changed things up by using a space-themed fixed price structure, which works as follows:
The organization doesn’t end with definitive prices either. When you open a ClutchPack, you’ll see a vast array of cards on display, which are divided by rarity, as follows:
For each of those, ClutchPacks displays the percentage probability of pulling a card from each category, along with a minimum and maximum value for each.
Although I was initially disappointed by the lack of information on the brand’s website, and the absence of a Help Center, when I checked out their social media channels, my opinion changed somewhat. The brand clearly pays a lot of attention to its followers.
If you take a look on Instagram for example, where the brand posts regularly, there are some incredibly informative videos which reveal the brand’s selection process, and show exactly how each card is safely stored on the blockchain.
Incidentally, ClutchPacks offers support via live chat on its website, but it also welcomes questions on its social media channels, and typically responds quickly, which is also good to know.
At present, ClutchPacks comes across as a work in progress, which makes sense, as it’s one of the most recent additions to the mystery box scene. Although there are no promotions, and the brand’s inventory seems limited currently, there are signs suggesting that there will be more to come in the future.
Meanwhile, ClutchPacks is offering top-quality trading cards, and as far as I’m aware, it is the only mystery box site offering One Piece cards, so it definitely has some unique selling points. If you are a trading card collector, then ClutchPacks is definitely worth a visit, which you can do easily using the link on any of our page banners.
ClutchPacks is one of the newest mystery box sites, and at present it doesn’t offer any bonuses or promotions. However, the brand does have a “Risk Free First Pack” guarantee which allows you to return your first ClutchPack purchase if you’re not happy with it.
If you want to purchase any of the ClutchPacks currently on offer, you can use Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Discover cards. For those of you who prefer cryptocurrency, you can use Tether to process your payments.
The brand currently has 16 ClutchPacks available to purchase from its Launch Series. The quantity may be small, but the brand is new and it has focused on offering high-quality trading cards for sports, Pokemon, and the highly popular One Piece franchise.
ClutchPacks provides a live chat option on its website which you can access by clicking on the ‘Help’ button on the top menu bar. The brand also welcomes questions via its official Instagram and Facebook pages, where it maintains a consistent presence.
Provided you are at least 18 years old, or the minimum age for the state where you live, ClutchPacks can be accessed from any US state currently. Although you won’t be asked to complete a verification process when you first sign up, the brand will require you to provide a photo-ID document before any cards can be shipped.
