Packs.com is a popular card ripping site that offers opportunities to open digital versions of physical Pokémon, One Piece and other trading card packs online, then choose whether to ship, store or sell your card pulls afterwards.
In today’s Packs.com review, I’ll be exploring all the different types of trading card packs available, as well as how the site’s digital openings, physical deliveries and “Buy Back” features work. I’ll also talk payment methods, fairness and security – and give you my overall take on the site, which I think is ideal for casual collectors and hobbyists.

As mentioned already, Packs.com is all about buying and opening sealed collectable trading card packs digitally, then deciding what to do with them after each rip.
As it stands, the site specializes mainly in Pokémon, Magic and One Piece cards. It claims to have 50,000+ authentic cards on its books, all verified by trusted third-parties and ready to ship – with a strong emphasis on rarer, original cards in near mint condition. Riftbound packs were added to the site recently, too, as part of an ongoing expansion effort. Although sports cards are sadly unavailable at the time of writing.
Unlike group card break sites, which typically involve selling shares in a card pack to multiple customers at once, Packs.com is a trading card rip site that sells entire sealed packs to individual customers only – meaning every pack you purchase belongs exclusively to you, and you’ll get all the cards inside it, every time. What’s more a “Single Pull” option for purchasing individual cards, one by one, is also available on the site.
All Packs.com’s packs are purchasable using Coins – the site’s dedicated virtual online currency – and can be shipped directly to your home address, sleeved and top-loaded for protection. Alternatively, cards can be sold back to Packs.com through their “Buy Back” service if you don’t, or simply stored in your “Backpack”, which acts as your personal online inventory, for safe keeping.
Currently, you can choose from Pokémon, Magic, One Piece and Riftbound card packs on Packs.com. Although it’s important to be aware that the site’s specially curated packs aren’t original, manufacturer-sealed retail boosters like what you’d find in a regular store.
Instead, the brand’s product catalog features customized digital packs put together by Packs.com themselves, each of which contains cards from a specific franchise, usually grouped by theme – for example, Pokémon card packs may feature themes such as “Destined Rivals” or “Mega Evolution”. Although the packs advertised are rotated regularly by the site, meaning availability shifts frequently.
Each pack clearly displays its purchase price in Coins before opening – with entry-level packs aimed at casual traders usually starting from 6 or 7 Coins, and more exclusive packs with higher probabilities of featuring rarer, more valuable cards priced at 900+ Coins or more at the time of writing.

I found there are several options available to you each time you rip with Packs.com. Although in some cases, you’ll need to act pretty quickly – as a 24 hour action window may apply.
Here’s everything you can potentially do post-pull:
If you like what you see after a pull, you can get cards shipped directly to your home address, Packs.com advertises an average US shipping time of four weeks, or else any shipping fees you’ve paid will be refunded. Having said that, it’s important to note that shipping requests can only be made within 24 hours of digitally opening a pack. So, try not to leave things hanging too long.
Your “Backpack” page acts as a personalized digital collection dashboard, where you can hold and view all your pulled cards.
This option lets you sell your cards back to MEJMR, Packs.com’s owner, at the resale value price originally displayed at the point your cards were digitally revealed – i.e., if their value has increased since then, you won’t be able to sell them back to the platform at their newer, higher price. So, please be aware of this.
It’s also worth noting that when using Buy Back, you’ll receive Coins – and not cash – once the sale has completed.
As I mentioned earlier, Packs.com uses a virtual currency system for purchasing packs. So, you’ll need to start out by buying some Coins for yourself if you want to rip cards here.
Currently, the site supports both fiat and cryptocurrency payment options, with VISA, MasterCard, Amex and Apple Pay available on the fiat front (all processed via Stripe), and Bitcoin, Tether, Ethereum, Tron, USDC and Litecoin available if you’d prefer to purchase your Coins using crypto.
My Packs.com review found that Coin packages start out from $20 for 20 Coins, and go right the way up to $5,000 for 5,000 Coins. So, there’s a bundle to suit everybody, while $1 USD always equals 1 Coin in terms of conversions. Note that crypto fees may vary from wallet to wallet, while Stripe may also charge fees if you’re paying by card or Apple Pay, too.
Naturally, there are no cash or crypto withdrawals on the site – but you can of course request to have your pulled cards delivered to your door within 24 hours of ripping any pack. This will incur delivery fees which may very well vary by state and product. I found that US shipping typically takes 14 days, with cards generally shipped within three days of your shipping request being approved by Packs.com. Although international deliveries may take a little longer.
Unused credits can potentially be refunded within 30 days of purchase, too. Although this is subject to contacting Packs.com’s customer support team first.

But in a nutshell, you can claim one free trading card pack on registration – with a choice between a Pokémon, Magic or a One Piece pack offered at the time of writing.

Here’s my take on the all-round experience of using Packs.com on the daily:
Packs.com offers a modern UI that’s a breeze to navigate thanks to its drop-down filters for different Collectible Card Games (CCGs), user-friendly search engine and one-tap toolbar icons for the likes of “Packs”, “Single Pulls” and the platform’s Coins store.
I didn’t see a Packs.com app offered at the time of writing, which is a bit of a shame. But their site is mobile-friendly, and seems to run smoothly on Google Chrome, Safari and other mainstream browsers on most devices. While it also benefits from the following fun and unusual features:
My Packs.com review found that customer support shapes up very nicely here, too. At any time, you can tap the “Help Center” icon in the site’s footer to bring up an easy to use live chat widget.
Unfortunately, however, I found that the service isn’t available 24/7 – when I tried to get in touch on a Saturday morning, I received a “Back Monday” message. Although when I wrote in on a weekday, the team offered up friendly, helpful responses to my card-related queries almost instantly. While email support is also up for grabs as an alternative.
I didn’t encounter any official community chats or forums on Packs.com at the time of writing – which is probably the site’s biggest oversight right now. But Packs.com does have its own in-built “Marketplace” page, where you can compare card stats and prices across various franchises. While your personalized “Backpack” page can be fun to show around to your friends, too.
What’s more, pack purchases and pulls are very data-driven on the site, displaying potential card pulls for each rip, transparent probabilities of the likelihood of landing specific cards in a pack, and information about card conditions, print numbers and the like, too – which I think more serious collectors will appreciate.

Packs.com is owned and operated by US based company, MEJMR LLC. The site itself offers transparent T&Cs and privacy terms, as well as clear-cut rules regarding shipping, Buy Back and other site features, too. So, you always know exactly where you stand.
One of the site’s top USPs is that all pulls at Packs.com are not only completely randomized, but also use provably fair “hashed seed” tech. This enables you to verify on the blockchain that pack contents haven’t been manipulated after opening. In short? All pulls are handled fairly, and you can track what’s what via the site’s “Fairness” tab at any time.
I found that Packs.com only offers authentic cards that have been verified by professionals in its packs. While cards are sourced from reputable third-party markets, too.
Ahead of each rip, you’ll also have access to things like individual card pull probabilities and card condition info in full – i.e., you can check all this information before you actually purchase a pack, buy your first Coins bundle, or even sign up for an account.
From its transparent card-ripping probabilities and provably fair pulling tech, to its easy to use website and competitive shipping times, there’s a lot that I like about Packs.com. Although the fact that the site only offers Pokémon, Magic, One Piece and Riftbound trading card packs right now does make it a no-go for sports and other card fans, unfortunately. While it probably isn’t the best card ripping platform around for community interaction features, either.
Nevertheless, Packs.com is a legit and trusted card ripping site, and I’m convinced it remains a great, user-friendly option for more casual traders and hobbyists – particularly if you’re more into Pokémon and One Piece than other types of cards, and looking to lock down some rarer, vintage pulls with your rips.
