Before drilling into the detailed stuff, I want to quickly run through the mechanics of this platform. It’s primarily a mystery box site, so you buy cases of unknown items, open them and see what you end up with. The unboxing and the element of surprise is what makes it all such good fun.
However, unlike many similar platforms, where you buy the boxes using real money, Cases.gg uses a sweepstakes mechanic. Instead of cash, there are two virtual currencies:

So, what’s actually available to buy? When I last checked, there were just under 350 cases to pick from, spread across ten different categories. Prices ranged from 0.10 CC for the Reduce Reuse Recycle case, to 14,878 CC for the Yaris To Urus box.
All cases contain a range of goods, some of which are considerably more valuable than the purchase price. Naturally, many of the potential pulls are worth a lot less, and this uncertainty is where the fun lies. Don’t worry, though – everything’s transparent. You’ll see a list of possible wins, plus their respective odds, long before confirming a purchase.
I’ve picked out a handful of cases for sale when I wrote my review, just to give a flavor of what’s up for grabs. All prices are listed in CC, but don’t forget you can switch to GC mode and “buy” these boxes for fun:

The exact number and types of box varies, as users can actually pack their own cases. If you want to create a custom case, there’s an incentive to do so – you’ll get 3% of every CC sale. However, you can’t build your own box until you’ve reached level 5.
This platform offers five different gameplay experiences. Toggle between them using the icons at the bottom of the mobile site, or the pull-down menu on desktop. The options are:
Cases.gg is owned by CGG Entertainment Ltd, a company based in Cyprus. However, they’ve set up CasesGG US LLC in Delaware to operate the site from within the US. The company registration all appears to be in order – everything is legal and above board.
The website launched in 2024, so it’s already been around for a while. If it weren’t reliable and trustworthy, we’d know by now. When I compiled this guide, there were more than 400 Cases.gg reviews on Trustpilot. Its TrustScore is currently 3.6 (Average) – that’s obviously not perfect, but it’s not the rating of a bogus site, either.
Everything about Cases.gg is provably fair. All of the games and mystery boxes are completely random, and the technology used to determine the outcomes is open source. You’re free to check it, as everything is published on the website.

To open a mystery box, you’ll first need some GC or CC. Remember, these virtual currencies can be obtained through bonuses and promotions, or you can buy GC with the following payment methods:
When buying GC, there’s always a free CC bonus included. For example, a $100 purchase gets you a reward of 100.25 free CC. The exact figure is shown just about the “Checkout” button, so you always know exactly where you stand.
On the subject of bonuses, there’s a lot going on. It starts with the welcome offer, which includes three free cases and a first purchase reward of 5% up to 200% which you can find on the site’s official homepage. When playing in GC mode, you can’t redeem any of the items within a mystery box. All you can do is use the Quick Sell feature to instantly exchange them for more GC.
However, in CC mode, almost all of the goods are redeemable. If you want to keep them, Cases.gg ships them to your nominated address for a fee. Quick Sell remains an option, and you’ll be paid in CC.
If you have at least 20 CC in your balance, and you’ve met the playthrough requirement, you can also redeem these for cash or crypto rewards.
The Cases.gg website is pretty straightforward to get around, whether you’re using a computer or phone. Everything is laid out clearly, and switching between cases, Battles, Upgrade, Coinflip, and Crash doesn’t take much effort. There’s no dedicated app, but the website works well on mobile, so there’s nothing stopping a quick browse or case opening while away from a desktop.
As mentioned, Cases.gg doesn’t have a mobile app, so you’ll need to visit the website in a browser. It’s all good though – the site works very well on mobile devices, including tablets and smartphones, as well as desktops and laptops.

If you’re struggling to register, or have any other issues, there are few ways to contact support. I don’t recommend the telephone, as the listed number is from the Republic of Ireland. Emailing [email protected] is your best bet, though you may need to wait a couple of hours for a response during busy times.
There’s a 24/7 live chat widget, available by clicking the speech bubble icon, but it’s only open to registered users. The Discord server has a support channel, but it now appears to be defunct, replaced by the website’s live chat service.

Although it’s primarily a mystery shopping site, Cases.gg incorporates some truly innovative games. Like most similar platforms, unboxing battles are an option, with several interesting formats.
But I haven’t seen many sites where you can win items from other players in coinflip battles, or trade up existing pulls for more valuable rewards by playing casino-style crash games.
