Shiny is a crypto-focused online collectibles site that sells mystery packs containing Pokémon and One Piece trading cards. It soft launched late in 2025, before opening to the public in February 2026 – so it’s still pretty new.
I signed up to investigate the Shiny signup bonus, and see what other promotions are in store. The initial welcome offer is fairly modest – new registrants get a 5% discount on their first purchase, as long as they participate in the demo. However, regulars benefit from a daily login reward, ongoing friend referral bonuses, and a decent loyalty program.

I’ll describe all of these in detail throughout my guide. But first, if you haven’t seen my Shiny review yet, we’d better recap exactly what this platform is all about:
As I mentioned, newcomers are treated to a very straightforward welcome bonus – a 5% discount on your first pack purchase. You don’t need to do anything too clever to claim it – there’s no Shiny promo code involved, for example. But you must agree to the site demo, immediately after joining up, to qualify for the bonus.
In truth, this isn’t the biggest offer around. To get the most out of it, you’d need to buy the $250 Pokémon Legendary Pack, giving you a $12.50 saving. If you only bought the $15 Beginner Pack, for instance, you’d save just 75 cents.
I’ve seen similar sites that offer $10 discounts, or even free mystery packs, as their welcome bonuses. So this does feel a bit small by comparison.
To recap, here’s how to collect the welcome bonus:
Click a link on this page to visit the Shiny website
Create an account by email, Google or Abstract
Verify your email address and log into Shiny
When prompted, agree to take part in the demo
The 5% discount will then be added to your account
It’s certainly worth sticking around at Shiny, thanks to the 100-tier Level Rewards system. Like any similar program, you collect loyalty points that help you rise through the ranks.
As far as I can tell, there aren’t any tangible perks to levelling up at the moment – not in the sense of stuff like priority support, or faster shipping, anyway. But your level does determine your share of the future Airdrop rewards, which I’ll discuss later in my guide.
There’s also a discount voucher every time you achieve a promotion. They start at $5 and get progressively larger, with a big jump every fifth level. I’m not going to reproduce the entire table here for space reasons, but the examples below illustrate what I mean:
| Loyalty Tier | Level Up Bonus |
|---|---|
| Level 5 | $25 pack discount |
| Level 10 | $50 pack discount |
| Level 15 | $75 pack discount |
| Level 20 | $100 pack discount |
| Level 50 | $500 pack discount |
| Level 100 | $2,500 pack discount |
There are several ways to acquire Shiny loyalty points, which are simply called “XP”. Examples include:
What about ongoing promotions for existing account holders? There aren’t as many as some platforms I’ve previously encountered, but there’s more than enough to keep the regulars happy. Let’s take a closer look at each promotion.
There’s one free entry available every 24 hours. To claim it, just log into your Shiny account and click “Rewards” from the main menu.
You’ll find three other daily challenges on this page, all of which provide you with one premium entry per successful completion. They ae:
Shiny is currently active on X (formerly Twitter) as well as its own discord server. I’ve yet to see them run any giveaways or special promotions on X yet, but there have been a few on Discord.
I wouldn’t describe these promos as “regular”, exactly. More like “periodically” – perhaps around once every six to eight weeks. The last one I saw, Shiny gave away a Pokémon pack worth $50 for free, to a randomly-chosen winner.
It’s worth following both of these channels just in case they ramp up the promotions in future. Make sure you’re primed and in position to take full advantage if they decide to drop a special Shiny bonus code or something.
Like all good platforms, Shiny rewards you for encouraging friends to join. Give your six-digit referral code to a friend and make sure they include it when signing up. That’s essential, as it ties them to your account.
This referral program is a little more complicated than most, but it’s nothing too mind-blowing. Once a friend is successfully referred, you’ll continue to receive a percentage of any XP they collect from their platform activity. You’ll also get a similar cut of any money spent on marketplace fees, paid to your USDC balance.
The exact percentage is determined by your current tier, which increases as your referrals continue to spend money on the platform. See the following table for details:
| Referral Tier | Referral Bonus | XP match |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | 10% | 10% |
| Level 2 | 12% | 12% |
| Level 3 | 15% | 15% |
| Level 4 | 20% | 20% |
| Level 5 | 25% | 25% |
Shiny is launching its own cryptocurrency token. It hasn’t been announced when this will happen, but all users are invited to take part – just accrue XP and you’ll get a share when it goes live.
The total supply of Shiny tokens will be 100 million, spread over five seasons. Your share of the first 20% airdrop will be determined by how much XP you manage to accumulate between now and the eventual Token Generation Event.
At the end of the season, after the initial distribution, everyone’s XP will reset to zero and a new season will commence. Another 20% of the supply will be distributed at the end of season two, and so on, until the end of season five.
Before I wrap up this guide to bonuses at Shiny, here are some things you need to know about this platform.
At the time of writing, Shiny is still in its open beta phase. This began in mid-February 2026, when the site first opened to the public. However, at some point, this status will undoubtedly change. And when that happens, the bonuses and promotions I’ve described may also change.
Shiny is currently migrating its underlying technology away from Base to the Solana blockchain. Any cards you own will not be affected, but it will likely change a few things regarding payment methods. It’s possible that the existing bonuses could also be tweaked.
This platform only sells Pokémon and One Piece trading cards and mystery packs, so don’t expect to use your discount vouchers on anything else. Let’s see whether or not Shiny introduces new items after the Solana migration is complete.
The Shiny signup bonus is not the biggest I’ve come across. But I’m never going to turn down the chance to try a new platform, especially when there’s a 5% discount on my first rip.
If you can afford it, I recommend buying the most expensive pack, so you maximize the value of this bonus. However, please be responsible when purchasing mystery packs – don’t spend beyond your means.
I’m going to stick around and keep using Shiny, as I want to see what happens post-Solana migration. I think there’s already some value in the Level Rewards loyalty program, and the referral bonus could potentially be quite rewarding, too. But I’m especially interested to see whether or not the site introduces new bonuses or mystery pack items.

Shiny gives new users a 5% discount on their first purchase, as long as they take part in the demo immediately after registration. However, there isn’t a bonus for funding your Shiny account balance.
Yes. Every time a referred friend makes a trade in the marketplace, you get at least 10% of the transaction fee paid to Shiny. You’ll also get a cut of the XP they acquired from the same transaction. These percentages can grow to as high as 25%, in line with how much your referrals spend.
There’s a reward of one free entry up for grabs every 24 hours. Use the “Rewards” tab in the main menu, then click the button to claim your daily login reward. If you miss a day, there’s no way to retrieve it, so make sure you check in regularly.
Yes. Regular users can climb a 100-tier loyalty ladder, called Level Rewards. Collect XP every time you rip a pack, or complete certain tasks on the Shiny platform. There’s a free discount voucher every time you level up, starting at $5, and increasing to $2,500 at Level 100.
Shiny plans to launch its own crypto token, the total supply of which will be 100 million. These will be distributed to Shiny account holders based on how much XP they accumulate, relative to other users. This will take place over five seasons, with 20 million tokens up for grabs each time.
