  • No welcome bonus for new accounts

Slabz is a self-described “collectibles arcade” that sells digital mystery packs containing Pokémon, One Piece and sports cards. You don’t know what’s inside until the pack’s been opened, but it will definitely be a physical, pre-graded trading card.

In my Slabz review, I’ll go into more detail about what’s available to buy, and explain how the process works.

You’ll learn how to pay for packs, and exactly what happens once your pull has been revealed. I’ll also discuss what makes this site different from similar platforms, as well as how to register and contact support.

What is Slabz anyway?

Support Types E-Mail

Slabz is a mystery pack site built on the Solana blockchain. It’s best suited to Pokémon fans, as most of the cards for sale involve that particular franchise. But you can also buy One Piece and sports trading cards.

Don’t expect to participate in live Pokémon card breaks – that’s not what Slabz is about. It’s just a place to buy and store mystery packs. And if you don’t like what you’ve pulled, you can sell it instantly for 85% of its fair market value.

For the time being, the platform is only accessible through the Slabz.com website. There’s no app yet – neither native Android and iOS software, nor a progressive web application.

Sounds like every other mystery box site

On the contrary. Although it shares a lot of similar features with the best mystery box sites, Slabz only sells trading cards. You won’t find cases of stuff like electronics, sneakers and gift cards here.

Secondly, as a blockchain-based platform, you can pay for your purchases using dozens of different cryptocurrencies, including USDC, SOL and BTC. Don’t be put off if you’re not into crypto, as there are plenty of traditional payment methods, like debit cards, PayPal and Venmo.

Withdrawable USDC balance

Finally, and perhaps most notably, you can withdraw your balance. While most platforms like Slabz offer some kind of instant buyback feature, it’s normally paid as an on-site credit. You can only use those funds to buy more packs, and they’re not redeemable for cash.

Slabz is different, though – you’re paid in USDC, and you can withdraw whatever’s in your balance whenever you like. You can still buy more packs if that’s what you want to do. But the option to withdraw is present.

There’s plenty to rip at Slabz

As I mentioned, there are just three categories – Pokémon, One Piece and Sports. However, Slabz is still a very new platform, having launched early in 2026, so there’s definitely scope for more packs in future.

The table below summarizes what’s currently in store:

Product TypePrice PointsWhat’s Available?
Pokémon Cards$25, $50, $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500Modern, Vintage
One Piece$50, $250, $1,000Promos, Manga Alts, Special Alts
Sports Cards$100MLB, NBA, NFL

Naturally, the more you pay to open a pack, the greater the potential value of your card. You can see a full list of possible pulls, and their respective insurance values, by clicking the “WHAT’S INSIDE?” button. Each draws from a pool of 100 different cards, any one of which could be inside.

Okay, let’s take a closer look at the different Slabz packs being sold.

Pokémon

This popular trading card game is the main focus, with seven packs to choose from. Most contain the price in the name, so Pokémon 50 means you’ll pay $50 to rip that particular pack.

You’ll also find Pokémon Vintage packs, priced at $500 each, and Pokémon Sealed packs. When I put this guide together, a message was notifying users that the Pokémon Sealed packs were paused. Hopefully this is just temporary maintenance, and they’ll be back soon.

One Piece

Use the pull-down menu to change the default from Pokémon to One Piece, and you’ll find three different packs for sale. Like the Pokémon menu, these are simply named after their respective values:

  • One Piece 50
  • One Piece 250
  • One Piece 1000

All of your favorite characters are available, including Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro, with a variety of special collectibles and art styles

Sports

At the moment, there’s only one sports pack available for purchase – Sports 100. As the name suggests, this costs $100.

This pack offers the chance to pull one of 100 sporting legends from three major leagues – NFL, NBA and MLB. Look out for Patrick Mahomes, Lebron James and Shohei Ohtani, for example.

What can you do with your newly acquired Slabz cards?

What you can do with your newly acquired Slabz cards

Once a pack has been opened, you have three choices:

  • Sell it instantly. There’s an instant payment if you sell an unwanted rip within 72 hours. You get at least 85% of the fair market value (FMV).
  • Have it shipped out. Slabz doesn’t just deliver to addresses in the US – they’ll send your pull anywhere in the world. Shipping fees apply.
  • Keep it in the vault. All pulls are automatically stored in a secure vault for as long as you need. This doesn’t cost you anything.

If you choose to sell any unwanted Slabz rips, the “Buyback Guarantee” ensures you’ll get at least 85% of the FMV. This is determined by Collector Crypt, based on multiple live pricing sources. Don’t take too long to decide, as the offer is only valid for 72 hours.

Hold onto the card for longer, and it remains in the storage vault, at no cost to you. However, if you then choose to sell it, it will first have to be shipped out, then listed on a secondary platform. Slabz doesn’t currently have a marketplace of its own.

Slabz payment methods

There are two ways to pay for Slabz packs. You can fund your USDC wallet, and use the balance to buy slabs, or go for the “Insta Rip” feature. This pops up a simple purchase interface offering traditional methods like Mastercard or Visa debit cards.

If you buy packs using Insta Rip, it’s also possible to turn on “Turbo Mode” – this instantly sells the most common pulls back to Slabz, giving you immediate liquidity to buy more.

USDC Wallet

Your USDC balance can be linked to six different crypto wallets, including MetaMask, Phantom and Trust Wallet. You also make direct payments with more than 30 different cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether.

Other funding options include Moonpay, Venmo, Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal and Revolut. To withdraw from your USDC wallet, you must first complete a simple verification process. Make sure you have your SSN to hand.

What are the bonuses and promotions at Slabz?

Unfortunately, Slabz doesn’t give new users a welcome bonus.

Referrals get you a virtual currency called Tickets, which can be used to play games and win free pulls. There’s one free Ticket for both parties (up to a maximum of 200) whenever the referred user spends $50.

If you can find someone else’s Slabz promo code and use it when signing up, that’s the closest you’ll get to a signup bonus.

Slabz also has a four-tier VIP program, with a daily rewards system. However, you must spend at least $5,000 to qualify, so it’s not ideal for casual users.

What is Slabz like to use?

Slabz is a fairly user-friendly website. It automatically detects whether you’re on a smartphone, tablet or computer, then optimizes the layout accordingly. The tabs at the top of the screen let you switch between four display options:

  • Packz: This is the main page where you buy and rip your packs.
  • Vault: Use this to view and manage your securely-stored pulls.
  • Gamez: Spend your Tickets playing three games to win more rips.
  • Auctions: From time to time, Slabz puts various cards up for auction.

Freak Mode

This is a really cool feature that lets you rip up to 100 packs all at once. It’s definitely not for beginners, though. Even if you’re really experienced with card break sites, I’d avoid it until you’ve familiarized yourself with this specific platform.

Just before opening the pack, there’s a toggle above the “Wallet” and “Card” payment options. Switch it on and you’ll see the plus and minus symbols, as well as a bunch of preset options, to help you pick a number from 2–100. Whatever you choose, that’s how many slabs you’re about to buy.

They’ll be opened simultaneously, with all common pulls sold back to Slabz automatically. Those funds hit your balance immediately, and it’s your call what to do with the rarer cards.

How to get started with Slabz

Here’s a quick guide on how to get started with Slabz:

  1. Use the banners in this guide to load the website

  2. Click the “SIGN IN” button in the top-right corner

  3. On mobile, it’s hidden behind the hamburger button

  4. Register via email, Google or “Continue with SMS”

  5. Verify your chosen method using the six-digit OTP

  6. Enter your username – leave the referral code blank

  7. That’s it – you’ll log in automatically, all ready to rip

Problems signing up?

A negative aspect of Slabz is the lack of obvious customer support options. There’s no FAQ or searchable help center, and there’s definitely no live chat widget or telephone number to call.

In fact, I had to work very hard to even find an email address – contact [email protected] for general inquiries and support. Alternatively, reach out to @Slabzapp on X (Twitter) for assistance.

Is Slabz safe and legit?

Slabz is totally safe

Yes, Slabz is totally safe, for a number of reasons. First, the site works in partnership with Collector Crypt, the well-known blockchain-based collectibles platform. That’s the company responsible for storing your physical pulls, in a secure vault.

Each card has its own corresponding on-chain NFT for tracking purposes. The physical asset remains stored, but the NFT ownership transfers to your account when you open the pack. Collector Crypt is also responsible for the grading of each card.

Despite accepting users from the United States, Slabz itself is a Canadian company, based in Montreal. It adheres to local privacy laws like PIPEDA, ensuring your sensitive personal information is protected at all times.

Pack transparency

Although Slabz shows a detailed breakdown of every card you could pull from a pack, including their insurance values, the respective probabilities are missing. I can see this potentially dissuading some people from joining – it will be hard to get trust as a new platform, without full transparency.

To be clear, I have no doubt whatsoever that everything’s above board. But visibility is the best way to prove it, so I hope to see the “WHAT’S INSIDE?” feature expanded to include percentages in future.

I know the platform’s already capable of doing it, because the loyalty program breaks down the daily reward packs in this exact manner. For instance, bronze players have a 4% chance of collecting a free Pokémon 50 pack. Other possible rewards include 120 free tickets (10%) and a free Pokémon 25 rip (12%).

Work to be done, but a good option for Pokémon lovers

I definitely think Slabz is worth a look, but only if you’re into Pokémon and One Piece. In its current form, it’s not going to be taken seriously as a sports card platform, as there just aren’t enough options.

It also needs to improve the support aspect. Not having an FAQ page is unforgivable, and the email address should be clearly signposted.

Ultimately, it’s still a really new site, and I’m sure it will get better with time. If you want to check the site out for yourself, click the banners on this page to visit Slabz and get started.
