But Ryan Rollins, a guard averaging 4.1 points and 1.1 total rebounds, was cut by the Washington Wizards after being accused of shoplifting from Target seven times.
According to court documents, Rollins was charged with several counts of petit larceny. Between Sept. 9-Nov. 9, 2023, he allegedly pilfered household items including groceries, body wash, and candles, all valued to be less than $1,000, according to The Athletic.
The outlet also reported that Rollins hasn’t entered a plea, and is expected to appear in court again on Feb. 7, according to the court docs.
Rollins was part of the trade that sent Chris Paul to the Warriors.
The Wizards are 6-31 so far this season.
