People Flock To Online Porn During NFL Bye Weeks. Fact.
Bye weeks bring NFL players some rest. They also offer porn sites tens of thousands of NFL fans with six or more hours for their indiscriminate use. And oh, the things they do with them.
Two weekends back, Charles Anderson of art-house website Tube8.com (NSFW, obviously) broke down exactly how many more hits Tube8 gets in the Philadelphia market when the Eagles play vs. when they're on a bye week. I haven't touched a railing since.
Today, he kindly offers stats for every NFL market. Specifically, their average Sunday traffic compared with when the team does and doesn't play.
First observation: It seems as if D.C., Detroit, Oakland, and Houston have substantial never-nude populations. Viewed in an NFL playoff context, big numbers advance Arizona, Carolina, Dallas, Minnesota, Seattle and St. Louis in the NFC and Buffalo, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Miami, Pittsburgh, and San Diego in the AFC.
Kansas City over Miami. Seattle tops Carolina. Seattle takes the Super Bowl by the scruff of the neck and makes it theirs. Games aren't won on paper, so let's gratuitously pit " Sea Slut" vs. " Chunky Backyard BBQ" because while Seattle and Kansas City don't come up in a Tube8 search, "sea" is half of one teams name and BBQ is a staple food in the other town. May the best team win.
