Police Raid Discovers Drugs, Hookers, Ex-Sonics Center Robert Swift
When we last checked in on former NBA center Robert Swift, in 2013, he'd left his foreclosed Washington home in a total mess. Kirkland and Redmond police raided a home on Oct. 4, and you'll never guess who they found.
Swift was detained at the house of Trygve Lief Bjorkstam, though he wasn't charged with anything related to the raid. Bjorkstam, however, had a lot of things to explain. Police found drugs, prostitutes, guns, and an underground bunker used as a shooting range. Bjorkstam had been cooking and selling meth and heroin out of his home to make money, according to documents obtained by the Kirkland Reporter. Oh, and the house is 300 feet from an elementary school. It's a wild story on its own.
Back to the ex-Sonic, though. If the 28-year-old Swift was hanging out at a drug dealer's house, his situation doesn't appear to have improved since the last update.
