Digital currency exchange Crypto.com has announced a partnership with Bookit that will further enhance the platform’s benefits for VIP traders. In a recent press release, the company heralds the new service as “a major expansion of Crypto.com’s Level Up” – which is the app’s user benefits program.
As part of the new service, Crypto.com users will be able to book travel and luxury “experiences” by using their account in-app. Although hotel bookings are a major part of the program, account holders can also secure event tickets or purchase luxury items from participating brands such as Sony, Callaway, and Bose.
For now, the new app function is only available to “Level Up” subscribers on the Crypto.com mobile platform. It “provides access to over one million global listings, including hotels, flights, cruises, car rentals, and live experiences,” according to the exchange.
At present, all Crypto.com account holders can opt-in for the “basic” Level Up benefits program, which is free of charge. The platform’s “Plus” option costs users $4.99 per month and reduces trading fees while the “Pro” subscription awards up to 5% APY on cash for $300 per year.
The 2026 Global Travel Trends Report, published by American Express, shows the growing popularity of experience-based travel among younger vacationers. Lodging, conference space, and tours have become part of larger VIP travel bookings that can be booked in advance while mimicking traditional “all-inclusive” packages.
The trend fits in perfectly with a new generation of cryptocurrency traders who are using in-app balances on Crypto.com, Coinbase, and Robinhood as a primary bank account. The new Crypto.com Travel initiative is likewise, part of a trend in which exchanges are enhancing their proprietary benefits programs to attract new subscribers.
According to Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev, the publicly traded company’s “Gold” subscribers now exceed 4 million individuals. The Stanford math graduate boasted that Robinhood offers the “heaviest” gold VISA card currently on the market during the exchange’s outdoor Q1 earnings call. Coinbase is another popular cryptocurrency trading platform that has opened a subscription-based service, Coinbase One, to premium users.
As one might expect, the most valuable perks associated with the new Crypto.com Travel program are reserved for “Pro” and “Private” subscription levels. Premium members can obtain up to 6% cashback in CRO (the app’s virtual currency) by stacking purchases.
“Crypto.com Travel represents another important step in expanding real-world utility for digital assets,” stated COO Eric Anziani in the official press release. “This new initiative adds to what is already the most comprehensive rewards program in crypto and with additional benefits available through CRO.”
