Meta Arena Prediction: Pros and Cons
  • Prediction markets app by Meta#Make predictions to win virtual points
  • Social and competitive predictions
  • App-only platform

My Meta Arena prediction markets review will be somewhat speculative, as the app is still under development. Nevertheless, this is the place to discover everything that we know so far about Mark Zuckerberg’s latest project.

Similar to other prediction markets apps, you’ll be able to make forecasts on future events ranging from sports and politics to culture and climate. However, the key difference is that you cannot back your predictions using real money. Instead, the app will have a social focus with a video game points system to make it competitive.

Meta Arena – What we know so far

Meta Arena is a forthcoming prediction markets app that’s still under development. Once the app is released, you’ll be able to make predictions for the outcomes of sports games and other future events for the chance to win points.

The more points that you win, the higher up the rankings you will climb. Rather than being a real-money prediction market trading app like the one described in my Gemini Predictions review, this one will be a social and competitive alternative.

There isn’t yet any information about a Meta Arena bonus, but it is thought that the app will be free to use. Here are the key facts that I know so far:

📱 App:Meta Arena
💾 Software developer:Meta (Mark Zuckerberg)
🚧 Status:Under construction
📈 Product:Prediction markets
💲 Real money event contracts:No

Meta Arena vs other prediction markets

As I touched on above, the biggest difference between Meta Arena and other prediction markets apps is that it will be a social app with a game-style points system to encourage competition.

It will not have any real money trading or investment element, at least at first. If that’s what you’re looking for, take a look at my Webull review instead.

How Arena works – Step-by-step

Based on the information I have, here’s a rough guide explaining how the app will work:

  1. Download the Arena app

  2. Create and verify your account

  3. Make a prediction for an event

  4. Win points if your predictions are correct

  5. Climb the rankings as you win more points

  6. Chat and compete with other users

My Meta Arena rating – Summary and conclusion

As the app hasn’t been released yet, I can’t give this app a definitive rating. However, what I can say is that it should be more successful than Meta’s previous foray into the world of prediction markets.

Zuckerberg previously tried something similar with his Forecast app, but that ended up getting shut down. However, Meta launched it in an era where prediction markets were extremely niche.

Thanks to Kalshi and its imitators, prediction markets have never had more mainstream popularity. With that in mind, perhaps a social app without a financial risk element could work.
