Launched in June, ROLR is just one of a flurry of prediction market operators to hit the US market in 2026. Attracted by the free-to-play $25 million Prediction Trade Challenge, I just had to sign up and take a look.

I’ll share my findings with you in this ROLR review, including which markets, payment methods and support channels are available. I’ll also talk more about the Prediction Trade Challenge, and whether or not there are any other bonuses and promotions. But first, let’s dig into exactly what this site offers – what are prediction markets, and how does it all work?

How ROLR prediction markets work

Support Types E-Mail

ROLR is a prediction markets platform, so users buy and sell contracts on binary yes/no questions. These are based on real world events, concerning all kinds of topics, including sports, entertainment and politics.

If you’ve already seen my Sleeper Markets review, the idea is just the same – only this platform poses many more questions. There were already well over 1,000 prediction markets to choose from when I researched this ROLR review. And that number is only likely to grow as the site becomes more firmly established.

Prediction market example

To better illustrate how prediction market trading works, let’s take a real example from the ROLR website. At the time of writing, the first question you’ll see on the homepage concerns the winner of the World Cup, a major international soccer tournament.

I won’t include all of the options, as the table will be huge. But here are the three most popular World Cup winner markets right now:

World Cup WinnerYesNo
France$0.16$0.84
Spain$0.16$0.84
England$0.11$0.89

So what does this mean? Well, each one of these is a simple yes or no question. Will France win the World Cup? Will Spain win the World Cup? Will England win the World Cup?

For any country taking part – Argentina, Germany, Brazil – you can pose the same question. Will they win the World Cup, yes or no?

If you think England will win, you can purchase a “yes” contract. As you’ll see in the table, they’re currently being sold for 11 cents. You can buy as many as you like – purchasing 100 contracts would cost a total of $11.

Contract settlement

At the end of the tournament, it will be clear who the actual winner is. Everyone holding a “yes” contract for that team is then paid $1 per contract. And anyone holding a “no” contract for the losing team will be paid $1 per contract. All incorrect contracts will settle for $0, meaning traders holding those get nothing.

In the meantime, prices will fluctuate based on supply and demand, as traders react to real-world trends and events. Injuries to star players, current form and elimination from the tournament will all have an impact on how much it costs to buy a contract. This creates the opportunity to trade, just like cryptocurrency or the stock market.

What prediction markets does ROLR offer?

It’s not limited to sports, by the way. As I mentioned earlier in this ROLR prediction markets review, you’ll find far more than 1,000 different questions. As well as the option to scroll through a long list of every prediction market on the site, these are sorted into ten categories:

  • Sports
  • Crypto
  • Politics
  • Finance
  • Economics
  • Science & Weather
  • Tech & AI
  • Entertainment
  • Esports
  • Other

Some topics are naturally much bigger than others, with the total number of markets varying throughout the year. The “Sports” category, for instance, is always much busier ahead of a major event like the World Cup, Super Bowl or NBA Playoffs.

At the time of writing, the “Sports” section contained a mammoth 740 prediction options. Not many operators can compete, in truth – though if you’ve read my DraftKings Predict review, you’ll know that particular app makes a good effort.

Something else I really liked was the “Esports” category. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a prediction markets site offering esports before, and I’m sure that section will prove popular.

Is ROLR a legit prediction markets app?

At the moment, ROLR is in its soft launch phase, so you can’t use real money to buy and sell event contracts. However, when it launches officially, ROLR will offer contracts in partnership with Crypto.com Derivatives North America (CDNA). This well-known exchange is already approved by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) – that’s the US regulator for trading and prediction market platforms.

In compliance with federal regulations, users must be at least 18 years old – or the legal age of majority in their state – to create a ROLR account.

Does ROLR have a welcome bonus?

You won’t get a ROLR bonus for signing up – check out my Coinbase review instead, if that’s what you’re looking for. However, you do get the chance to win $25 million, completely free, with no purchase required.

To celebrate going live, ahead of the platform’s official launch, ROLR is running a free-to-play trading competition for eight weeks. As you’ll see in the table below, there’s a variety of prizes to be won from the ROLR Prediction Trade Challenge. These include daily, weekly and monthly rewards for the best performers.

What’s more, three people every week will qualify for Finals Week, where they’ll play for the Grand Prize of $25,000,000.

NamePrizeDescription
Grand Prize$25,000,000Qualify for Finals Week and secure a perfect seven from seven to land the Grand Prize.
Season Champion$75,000Top the overall leaderboard and, if nobody wins the Grand Prize, the $75,000 is yours.
Monthly Champion$5,000Awarded to the account at the top of the table at the end of each month.
Master ReferrerUp to $5,000Most referrals in a month bags $5,000. Weekly prizes of $1,000 also available.
Weekly Top Predictor$1,000The best weekly performance lands a $1,000 reward.
Daily Leader500 CreditsGet an extra 500 prediction credits to play with if you top the daily leaderboard.

What about bonuses for existing users?

Sadly, you won’t find any ROLR bonuses for existing users at the moment.

The platform is still brand new, having launched on June 2, 2026. But when the Prediction Trade Challenge is complete, I expect they’ll probably add a more traditional welcome bonus, along with promotions for regular users. There could even potentially be a loyalty program.

However, until then, you’re free to give the trading contest a go.

What payment methods are available?

Right now, there aren’t any payment methods, as ROLR is a free-to-play platform. At the end of this soft launch period, when the brand officially goes live, you’ll be able to purchase real money contracts. But for now, you can’t.

What payment methods will be available in future? And will there be any trading fees? Unfortunately, that information hasn’t been released yet – I’ll update this guide when I know more.

The ROLR fee structure is one aspect I’m particularly interested in. Most prediction trading platforms have some fees, but there are a few exceptions, like what I found in my Moomoo review.

Customer support at ROLR

I really struggled to find a way of contacting the support team, which was disappointing. There’s no obvious method for getting in touch, like a “Contact Us” link or “Support” button, anywhere on the website. Honestly, my overall ROLR rating would definitely increase if they made this clearer.

If you need help, start by checking the FAQ page. At the moment, almost all of these concern the Prediction Trade Challenge – there’s very little on there to do with technical issues, like forgotten passwords or reporting bugs.

However, I was eventually able to find a way to contact the support team, buried away within one of the FAQ answers. There’s no telephone or live chat option, but if you email [email protected], you can expect a reply within 24 hours.

How to get started with ROLR

There’s no app available just yet, so you’ll have to use the website to sign up and make your trades. Here’s how to do so:

  1. Load the ROLR homepage by clicking a link in this review

  2. At the top of the page, hit the blue “Sign up” button

  3. Either connect your Google account or register with your email

  4. If using the latter, choose a password next, then a username

  5. Verify your account using the code sent to your email address

  6. You’ll be logged in automatically and you’re free to get started

An interesting new platform that’s free to trade – for now

ROLR is just the latest entrant to the US prediction markets space. Although it looks similar to many other operators, and the event contracts concept is identical, it’s taken a fascinating approach to raising its profile. Instead of providing new accounts with a registration bonus, there’s the free-to-enter Prediction Trade Challenge instead.

What’s so special about this? Apart from the $25 million Grand Prize, you mean? Just the small matter of thousands of dollars up for grabs, every day, week and month until the contest is over!

Sometime after the Prediction Trade Challenge wraps up, ROLR will officially go live. At that point, traders will be able to trade for real, instead of using the prediction credits currently found in our accounts. When that happens, I’ll update my review to reflect the change in status and provide more detail on features like payment methods and customer support.

But for now, you can try the site for free and take your shot at $25 million. Get involved today – click a banner on this page and start trading at ROLR.
