The latest prediction markets for the French Open women’s tournament make Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek the clear frontrunners for the title. Leading prediction market site Kalshi currently give four-time winner Swiatek a 29% chance of triumphing, whilst world number one Sabalenka is rated at 25% likely to win her first ever French Open crown.
To help you decide which of those two superstars to back, this article contains a guide to both players’ prospects at Roland Garros, as well as a look at some of the other contenders in the women’s singles draw. Plus, if you’ve not yet tried out prediction markets, we’ll be explaining how to make your French Open picks at Kalshi.
So, should you buy French Open contracts in Swiatek? Or is predicting a Sabalenka title win the smart option? Here’s how the two favorites, plus some of the other championship contenders, stack up ahead of the tournament:
Iga Swiatek’s current Kalshi market percentage of 29% reflects her astonishing record on clay. The Polish star has four French Opens to her name and her career win rate on clay stands at over 85%. But whilst there is little doubt that Swiatek is the greatest clay court player of her generation, she did lose to Sabalenka at the semi-final stage last year and has been slightly below her best so far in 2026. Of course, it’s highly possible that Swiatek will once again find an extra gear at Roland Garros and romp to her fifth title, but her iron grip over the rest of the tour is not quite as strong as it once was.
After winning her fourth major title at the 2025 US Open and reaching the final of the Australian Open in January, Aryna Sabalenka has subsequently won two WTA 1000 titles and has now been the world number one for 90 consecutive weeks. Sabalenka is still searching for her first French Open title, and that is undoubtedly the main reason why Kalshi rate the Belarusian slightly lower than Swiatek. However, Sabalenka has triumphed in her two most recent meetings with Swiatek and has shown huge signs of improvement on clay in the last two seasons.
Whilst Swiatek and Sabalenka are leading the way in the sports prediction markets for the French Open, there are three other potential winners who merit serious consideration when you are deciding who to pick for French Open glory:

Based on form and current prices, we think that Aryna Sabalenka represents the best pick to win the women’s French Open. The Belarusian is in superb form, and as she demonstrated at last year’s tournament, she does have the ability to overcome Swiatek on clay.
Of course, regardless of who you are picking to win the title, playing prediction markets does come with a risk, so make sure you are sensible when making your predictions and never buy contracts that you cannot afford to lose. Tap the banners on this page to trade on this market on Kalshi.
