The latest prediction markets for the French Open women’s tournament make Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek the clear frontrunners for the title. Leading prediction market site Kalshi currently give four-time winner Swiatek a 29% chance of triumphing, whilst world number one Sabalenka is rated at 25% likely to win her first ever French Open crown.

Sabalenka Bidding For a Fifth Grand Slam

After winning her fourth major title at the 2025 US Open and reaching the final of the Australian Open in January, Aryna Sabalenka has subsequently won two WTA 1000 titles and has now been the world number one for 90 consecutive weeks. Sabalenka is still searching for her first French Open title, and that is undoubtedly the main reason why Kalshi rate the Belarusian slightly lower than Swiatek. However, Sabalenka has triumphed in her two most recent meetings with Swiatek and has shown huge signs of improvement on clay in the last two seasons.

Who are the Other French Open Contenders?

Whilst Swiatek and Sabalenka are leading the way in the sports prediction markets for the French Open, there are three other potential winners who merit serious consideration when you are deciding who to pick for French Open glory:

Australian Open champion Elena Rybakina has already won a clay tournament this season and has developed into a top class player on the surface. Kalshi currently give her a 15% chance of winning at Roland Garros.
2025 champion Coco Gauff (11%) is fourth in the market. The American hasn’t been at her best in recent months, but a return to the scene of her greatest triumph could inspire her to more glory.
Teenage sensation Mirra Andreeva (8%) is widely tipped to win multiple Grand Slams in her career and has already reached the semi-finals at Roland Garros. However, her major record over the last year has been largely disappointing, and an unfavourable draw means that she is likely to meet Swiatek in the quarter-finals.

To make French Open predictions at Kalshi, you need to buy ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ contracts on specified players winning the tournament.
If you buy a ‘Yes’ contract on a player, that means you are predicting them to win the tournament.
If you buy a ‘No’ contract on a player, that means you are predicting them to NOT win the tournament.
Each contract has a percentage and a price (in cents) attached to it that reflects the perceived likelihood of that event occurring.
Successful contracts settle at $1 and unsuccessful contracts settle at $0.
If your prediction is correct, you receive a payout based on the likelihood of the event occurring.
If your prediction is unsuccessful, you lose the value of your contract and do not receive a payout.
For example, if you buy 100 ‘Yes’ contracts on Iga Swiatek winning the French Open at her current price of 27¢, this would cost you $27 (27¢ x 100).
If Swiatek were to win the championship, the contract would settle at $1, and your profit would be $100 minus the cost of your contracts. In other words, you would make a profit of $73 (100-27).
In the event of any other player winning the title, your contract would settle at $0, and you would lose your $27.
