With only four games remaining in the 2026 WNBA season and the league currently on a break for the FIBA Women’s World Cup, it’s the ideal time to take a look at updated WNBA Pro Basketball Champion prices from the best prediction market apps.
We continue to see the Minnesota Lynx dominating the board as heavy favorites at 46%, which isn’t surprising because they have a 31-9 record. They’re followed by the Las Vegas Aces (14%) and the Golden State Valkyries (12%). We’re going to take a closer look to see if we can find value here.
The Lynx are my pick to win the WNBA Championship because this team can dominate at all levels. Whether it’s getting a key basket or big stop on defense, the Lynx are able to do it all on the floor. Currently 2nd in both Offensive and Defensive Rating, they’re going to be hard to beat.
When we last took a look at WNBA Championship prices in July, the Lynx were at 41%, so their price has moved up by five cents. Minnesota was at 49% on August 24th, so getting in at 46% isn’t a bad deal with how they’re playing right now.
The Lynx (31-9) are listed at 46% to win it all. It’s a good time to buy into them because they just lost two games in a row: 80-66 against the Golden State Valkyries and 89-81 vs. the Atlanta Dream. This has caused their price to dip by three cents, giving you a better deal on them.
Remember, you could make the argument that the Lynx are even better than their 31-9 record because star forward Napheesa Collier has only played in 12 of 40 games. So far, she’s averaging 18.0 points per game on 49.1% shooting. Imagine what their record would be if she didn’t miss so much time due to injury.
With that in mind, I recommend buying into the Lynx now. It’s hard to see any other team slowing down this juggernaut.
The Aces (27-13) have fallen from 19% to 14% since our last update, despite going 9-5 within that timeframe. This is partly because we’ve seen them struggle against top-tier competition, including a 92-87 loss to the Minnesota Lynx on August 15th and a 97-82 vs. the Atlanta Dream on August 18th.
With that said, this is still a team that is 3rd in Offensive Rating and 5th in Defensive Rating, so they’re well-rounded enough to make some noise in the postseason. Superstar center A’ja Wilson continues to dominate as she goes for her third straight MVP, putting up 26.0 points and 9.4 rebounds on 52.3% shooting.
With the best player in the WNBA leading the way, we can never count out the Aces, who are trying to win their fourth title in the last five seasons.
Back in our July update, the New York Liberty were 3rd in pricing, but they’ve plummeted from 14% to 8%. That’s partly because of how well the Valkyries (29-11) are playing right now. This is a team that has won 10 of their last 12 games.
What’s dangerous about this team is they can shut down even the most prolific offenses, as highlighted by their top rank in Defensive Rating. We recently saw the Valkyries beat the Lynx, the best team in the WNBA, in a convincing 80-66 victory on August 24th. Holding Minnesota below 70 points is as impressive as it gets.
Given how good this team is defensively, they look like the better buy at 12% compared to the Aces (14%).
