The action now moves to Frost Bank Center in San Antonio Friday night, with tip-off set for 7:30pm local time. As one might expect, there are plenty of predictions currently available on the Kalshi app.
Now that the Spurs have gotten a taste for how Oklahoma City can perform when they play their best ball, San Antonio will look to limit the Thunder’s offense. Kalshi traders are leaning slightly toward the “under” for OKC at 108.5 points for Game 3 – a forecast that we agree with.
Despite San Antonio being favored at present, we like the 46-cents price for the Thunder to pull off a minor upset this Friday night. Oklahoma City is 9-1 during the 2025-26 NBA Playoffs, and have won 9 out of their last 10 postseason games.
Finally, we agree with Kalshi forecasters who are predicting a total point cumulation that exceeds 215.5 combined for both teams. Similar to Oklahoma City, the city of San Antonio brings a ruckus crowd that can spark both teams if Game 3 is competitive.
The Western Conference Finals are in full swing now, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put in an inspirational effort Wednesday night to put the Thunder back on track. The Spurs need an answer to thwart the reigning MVP, who took over the 4th Quarter in Game 2.
Both Julian Champagnie and Stephon Castle were severely limited in their 3-point production Wednesday night, shooting a combined 2-for-13 from beyond the perimeter. Additionally, lane access for 7’4” superstar Victor Wembanyama was restricted by the Thunder’s defense, who contained the French center to 21 points (after allowing 41 points on Monday).
Still, the biggest news item for Game 3 won’t be decided until the final buzzer sounds. Can San Antonio maintain its home court advantage by securing a victory this Friday night? If so, the Spurs go ahead 2-1 and are well positioned to take the series. If not, then Oklahoma City regains home court advantage and can rely on their fan base to boost their chances to return to the NBA Finals.
The Game 3 prediction market action on Kalshi is heavily skewed toward a Spurs victory on Friday. Odds have gone from nearly even all the way up to 54 cents per contract on San Antonio winning Game 3.
Wednesday night’s on-court action also gave Kalshi traders a reason to pick Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as the probable series MVP. However, Victor Wembanyama is still trading at 41 cents, compared to 58 cents for the OKC superstar. Expect these numbers to move significantly late Friday once the results for Game 3 have been posted.
As for the series eventual winner, prediction fans have taken Game 2 into account and placed the Oklahoma City Thunder back at 60 cents. This means that Spurs believers can get an optimally priced 40-cent contract, especially since 3 out of the 5 remaining WCF games (if necessary) will be played in San Antonio.
