Game 3 of the 2026 WNBA Finals between the Golden State Valkyries and Atlanta Dream is set to tip off at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 21st at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
The Dream are coming off an impressive win in Game 2, where they won 79-65, as Angel Reese dominated, putting up 30 points and 16 rebounds. Atlanta continues to be stout defensively, holding opponents below 80 points in five of their last eight games.
The Valkyries are looking to steal at least one game on the road as the series shifts to Atlanta. They’ll need to figure out how to knock down shots from beyond the arc, as they’ve struggled there throughout the series, going 14-of-57 (24.6%).
This is a pivotal Game 3, so let’s check out best prediction markets to find the top prices for the WNBA Finals.
The Dream are priced at 61 cents to win this game. The point spread is Dream -4.5, priced at 48 cents. This makes sense because the Dream have home-court advantage and have been the hottest team in the WNBA, with Angel Reese carrying the load. Atlanta was tough at home with a 15-7 record this season.
The Over/Under is currently listed at 152.5 points, with the Over favored at 53 cents. While this number may seem low at first glance, with how good these teams are defensively, it looks like a fair total. You could even argue that it’s a touch too high.
The Dream have the edge in this one, but I don’t want to pay 61 cents on them to win, nor do I want to lay 4.5 points on the favorites. Instead, we’ll look to the total to find value.
In both games of this series, I’ve been riding with the Under. Each time, we’ve proven to be correct, as the matchups have combined for 144 and 132 points so far. This isn’t that surprising, since the Valkyries (1st) and Dream (2nd) are top-two in Defensive Rating.
When you add in how slow the Valkyries play in terms of pace (15th), it consistently creates a game environment where points are hard to come by. With that in mind, we’ll take Under 152.5 here. It was 155.5 in Game 1 of this series, but I still don’t think they’ve adjusted the line enough with how well these teams are playing defensively.
In terms of market movement at prediction markets apps, we see that the Dream have moved from 58 cents to 61 cents. It seems that the market is riding with Atlanta because of home-court advantage and how red-hot they’ve been of late. But even with that, I prefer to ride with another low-scoring game.
