Running back Isiah Pacheco has since moved on to the Detroit Lions, meaning Walker III will get most of the rushes for the Chiefs if he stays healthy.
Patrick Mahomes’ contract prices are currently trading at 37¢ on Kalshi for NFL Comeback Player of the Year, which will be decided by Associated Press media members once the regular season concludes.
After retiring from pro football in March 2024, All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald has officially returned to Los Angeles to join forces with the league’s most prolific sack threat, defensive end Myles Garrett.
Now 35 years of age, Donald maintained a strict workout regimen during retirement, one which his trainers described as “psychotic.” Social media clips showed Donald in the gym working out and jokingly using his wife as “human weight” for resistance training.
To some observers, Aaron Donald is a once-in-a-generation personality, akin to “Mean” Joe Greene, who commands locker room respect while enjoying a “Coke-and-a-smile” relationship with prominent sports media figures. He has moved up to No. 3 on Kalshi’s NFL Comeback Player of the Year market since announcing his return to the Rams on August 30th. His contracts can be purchased for 9¢ each, but could soar in value if he has a great Week 1 game against the 49ers in Melbourne.
J.J. McCarthy is still a member of the Minnesota Vikings, but he’ll be on the bench when the team takes on the Green Bay Packers in a Week 1 NFC North Division matchup in Minneapolis. Kyler Murray will get the start coming off a severe foot injury he sustained in 2025 when he was quarterbacking for the Arizona Cardinals.
The Vikings offense is still a potent weapon that can exploit most NFL defenses, but it requires a steady hand in the huddle.
